Got a call claiming to be from BT’s tech team about my internet. There was this awkward pause before anyone actually talked. I could hear voices in the background, so I reckon it was probably a scam. Number was blocked straight away.

Just got a call from someone pretending to be BT broadband, total scam. Watch out if you get a call saying it’s about your internet, it’s a trick to get your info. Definitely not legit!

After I picked up, there was quite a pause before a bloke came on saying he was from BT's tech support. Definitely sounded like a dodgy scam.

Got a call from a number saying it was BT but seemed like a scam. I rang back and the line just went dead. I've blocked the number now. If BT needs to get in touch, they should just send me a letter instead.
