I asked him to send me proof from British Gas. Then he got quite rude. I said I’d report him, and he just shrugged off saying he’s only an employee.

I got a call from 02031377049, no one spoke when I picked up and then they just hung up. After checking the comments here, I reckon it’s one of those companies pretending to be the utility provider. When I asked them for a security password, they couldn’t give it, so I told them nicely that I wasn’t interested since they weren’t from our actual utility. They then admitted it was a cold call aimed at our business. I just politely said no thanks and ended the call.

They keep ringin non stop, it's so annoying. My energy contract was supposed to renew but British Gas has actually lowered their prices and even renewed my deal for 2 more years. These lot just keep spouting rubbish like we’d get penalties if we switched or whatever. Honestly, someone needs to stop their calls for good, they never give it a rest! Received a flyer through the door saying they could switch my energy supplier and replace my boiler for nothing. Didn’t see any company info on it though. I ended up speaking with two blokes, Abu and Ali, who just wanted to come round and survey the place. When I questioned them, one gave me this number 02031377049. I talked to a guy named Faz on the phone, but still no mention of any official company, just "switch my utility". Feels like a massive scam. I’m reporting it to the city council now.

I got a call from a place claiming to be Total Gas and Power, but it quickly became obvious they were fakes. They were actually pushing Utility Wise, which I think has shut down, and claiming to be some sort of Business Utility outfit. They wanted me to verbally agree to a letter of authority so they could rope me into their fuel deals. As far as I can tell, it’s aimed at businesses, not regular customers.

Got a call from Mark at Business Utility Brokers - bit of a cold call, but honestly one of the chillest and most amusing guys I've talked to. At first, I told him to quit ringing me and that I wasn't interested, and he just went "Cheers for being polite about it." I figured, why not give him a shot? Turns out, he managed to lower my rates better than what I had before. Sometimes it really pays off to just hear someone out. Hats off to you mate, hope you see this!

I've had loads of calls from these lot, claiming they're from British Gas and want to chat about renewing my business energy deal. The bloke on the phone said his name was Mark - but honestly, who knows if that's true? They seem like quite sketchy energy agents, and I heard they're supposedly located in Leicester. I'd seriously avoid any dealings with them.

I was expecting to renew my energy contract with British Gas, but the lady on the phone was so unhelpful. She tried to connect me to their 'sales' department, but then a message popped up saying they couldn’t answer my call! Thing is, I didn’t even call them to start with and she didn’t mention which of my accounts she was talking about - I’ve got a couple! It was really rubbish. Got a phone call from a bloke saying he was 'Mark at SSE' about our business energy deal. He reckoned we could cut down on the standing charge since our usage had gone down, but he said he'd need to chat with our energy broker (I think it’s Business Solutions?). Then, about nine minutes later, someone else phoned from 02031377048, almost the same number, claiming to be from Business Solutions. They asked me to provide a letter authorising them to handle our gas and electric usage. I told them we prefer sorting this stuff out straight with our supplier ourselves.

About that Kissagram comment, the person who wrote it doesn’t seem to have the full story and might be mixing things up for those wanting to know who really called.
