I've been receiving calls from this number incessantly over the past few days-I'd say around four or five now. I recently received one of those typical scam calls, but this one had an unsettling twist. The caller seemed to know my name and home address, and they claimed I had reached out to them for some reason. Clearly, that was a blatant falsehood on their part! They identified themselves as a banking company by the name of FCD, which felt rather suspect. It’s rather concerning that they appear to be improving their tactics and accessing private information. These individuals certainly warrant scrutiny and should be brought to a halt!

I got a call from a firm called FCC, I was definitely sceptical at first but they convinced me they were genuine and said it was about my NatWest account. They also said I didn’t need anything from it to sort my mortgage. Just got £2331 through the post today. Brilliant!

He began talking about package accounts but I could barely make out what he was saying 'cos there was loud music in the background. He then handed the phone to a mate, so I guessed they were both in a car or something. The second guy started asking about what sort of bank account I have. I got a bit dodgy and said I couldn’t hear him well. He replied, "I can hear you fine, so the line’s all good!" I just ended the call. A woman named Debbie from SCC rang me, saying I was entitled to claim PBA from my bank. I told her this number is ex-directory and asked where she got it from, as I never share it, not even on forms. She just said it came from “third parties,” the usual excuse. I told her to take me off their call list, but she just kept going. I asked again, saying I didn’t want to talk about my finances over a cold call, and she completely ignored me. Even the third time I asked, she carried on like she couldn’t hear me. In the end, I just hung up. That number is definitely blocked now.

When I told them I’d look them up online and ring back, they either hung up or sounded a bit panicked. I’ve started blocking their calls now. I also think they might be using 02038673201, as I got another call shortly after, but I didn’t pick up to double check. Just be careful with these numbers!

Got a call from a woman with a Yorkshire accent, but the number was from London. She kept asking if I'd been missold some sort of packaged accounts. I said right off I wasn’t interested in talking about it and told her not to call me again. She didn’t take the hint and pressed me again about what kinds of accounts I had. Honestly, best to steer clear of these calls.

Got a call from this number earlier. When I said hello and gave my name straightaway, the girl sounded a bit surprised - obviously a bot calling. She hesitated when I asked who was on the line, then just ended the call. Looks like a cold call to me, so I’m gonna block it for sure.

Never pick up calls from unknown numbers, I always ignore them! If I don’t recognise the number, I just let it ring out.

Honestly just ignore these lot, they’re total scammers, really frustrating! I got a call from some bloke named Aiden who said he was with the FCC in Leeds, but the number was actually from London. They kept going on about something to do with PBA - didn’t make any sense. Stay clear!

I got a call the other day from someone saying, "I'm not here to sell or trick you" but then went on about paying monthly for travel or health insurance through my bank. It baffles me how they can keep bothering folks like this without a shred of guilt, always trying to con people out of their money.
