It appears to be a scam. They have contacted me using two different phone numbers before.

They informed me that they are registered as a claims management company with the Claims Management Regulator, under the Ministry of Justice (MoJ). I decided to verify their registration while keeping them on the line, and surprisingly, it appears that they are not actually registered! The registration number they provided (ZA011831) didn't correspond to any company when I searched on the MoJ & Claims Regulator website. I informed them of this revelation, but they persisted and refused to accept my refusal!

I received a phone call from them, but the connection was really poor, so I couldn't hear them clearly and I eventually gave up. I wonder why BT is unable to prevent calls from being made from this specific number. It's possible that the displayed number is fake and the call is actually coming from another country.
