We’ve chosen not to answer, but I’m curious if anyone out there knows who the caller might be?12 yearsOn certain days, we find ourselves inundated with three or four calls. Just today, we received four in a row! Our landline is now set to permanently divert to the answering machine. Quite frustratingly, the callers hang up before the message kicks in. This has been a persistent annoyance for weeks on end now.12 yearsI've already received two missed calls from this number this morning, both times with no one on the other end.12 yearsI've received numerous calls from this particular number, all starting with 020313, and I've made it a point to block each one. However, like clockwork, another call comes in the following day. When I mention that I'm registered with the Telephone Preference Service, they either talk over me or completely disregard my remarks. It's infuriatingly frustrating - something really ought to be done to tackle this persistent botheration.Telephone Preference Service12 yearsWhat a bunch of blokes! Honestly, BT ought to put a stop to this number, but knowing them, they probably won’t - can’t say I’m surprised considering they're raking in the cash from it.BT12 yearsThis number incessantly calls me multiple times throughout the day, starting at the crack of dawn, no matter how many times I’ve asked them to remove me from their list. They say they’re conducting a survey, but in reality, it’s just a front for handing my details over to various sales teams, including those pesky car insurance folk and the like. It’s quite infuriating!12 yearsThey called me by name, which was a bit off-putting. When I mentioned I wasn't keen on participating in their survey, they just rambled on about it without addressing my concerns. I pressed them on how they'd acquired my number, but they dodged the question entirely, continuing their spiel instead. In the end, I decided enough was enough and hung up the phone.12 yearsI’m absolutely at my wits' end with these incessant calls I keep receiving from individuals who claim to have British names but clearly aren’t from these shores. They start grilling me about all sorts of things, despite the fact that I’m ex-directory and my number isn’t meant to be shared! When I inquire how they managed to obtain my number, they simply drop the call without a word. It’s beyond infuriating!12 yearsI recently received a call from a number based in the UK, and I'm fairly certain BT could handle this issue. A chap named Jack (how original!) was on the line, trying his best but decidedly struggling with my surname. Oddly, he had access to all my personal information, including my address. He was rather insistent on conducting a survey, to the point of being quite bothersome!UKBTJack12 yearsI keep getting these annoying calls, sometimes five or six times a day, and I'm starting to wonder if it's just a dodgy survey scam or something similar. It's incredibly frustrating!12 yearsThey've just begun to ring me four times a day!12 yearsShould anyone possess the address linked to this phone number, it would be splendid if you could share the comprehensive details right here. I'm convinced that it would ensure a swift resolution to the matter at hand. I’m absolutely tired of con artists and deceitful tactics... it’s high time they were put in their place!13 yearsI've been receiving calls from this number almost daily. On the occasions I pick up, I've made it quite clear that I'm not keen on participating in any surveys and have requested them to cease calling me. Yet, they persist in ringing me back. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to put an end to this nuisance?13 yearsI've had quite enough of receiving incessant calls from this number every single day. We're not listed and have even signed up with the Telephone Preference Service, yet it seems utterly pointless as the calls just keep on coming.Telephone Preference Service13 yearsI just had a rather puzzling call. The chap on the other end had a British name and claimed to be ringing from the UK. However, his English was so muddled that I could barely make out what he was saying. When I inquired about his location, he kept insisting he was calling from the UK. I pointed out his circular reasoning and pressed for a clearer answer, but he repeated himself yet again. Not long after, the line simply went silent. Clearly, I wasn't providing him with the scripted response he was after!UK13 yearsI've just had my fourth run-in with this pestering caller. Honestly, when are the powers that be going to take action? It’s about time they listened to the many voices of frustration out there!13 yearsI've been plagued by this number today, receiving no fewer than four bothersome calls! It's baffling how, upon picking up, they already know my name. It’s clear they’re purchasing my info, and there ought to be stricter checks on companies before they can get hold of residential numbers like mine. I’ve opted out of the directory and registered with the Telephone Preference Service-yet it seems to have made no impact whatsoever. When will Ofcom, our MPs, the police, or anyone else step in to tackle these shady businesses?Telephone Preference ServiceOfcom13 yearsI received a call from this number earlier today, and when I declined to engage in conversation, the individual on the other end told me to clear off a couple of times. Honestly, if I were face-to-face with him, I'd certainly give him a piece of my mind!13 yearsFor the past few weeks, I've been plagued by incessant silent phone calls from this number. They tend to ring through at various odd times, whether it's during the morning or quite early in the evening-there's really no rhyme or reason to it. It's becoming quite a bother, to say the least!13 yearsMy day has been utterly ruined by these nuisance callers. I’m trying to work from home while juggling calls from my kids and colleagues, and all I seem to attract are persistent interruptions from 'Jack' and his mates. No matter how loudly I yell down the line, they just won't take the hint! We’re already on the Telephone Preference Service, but it’s like it doesn’t even exist. I attempted to return their call, but surprise, surprise, no one picks up. What options do we have, really?Jack13 yearsI keep receiving numerous calls from this number, but the sound quality is dreadful. There seems to be the faint sound of Indian voices in the background. Honestly, I just want these incessant calls to come to an end!13 yearsI've had this happen again - it's the third time this week now! An Indian chap keeps calling, trying to persuade me to engage in some survey. I told him, “No, thank you,” but he just wouldn't take no for an answer, insisting I'd benefit from it in various ways. It's absolutely infuriating!13 yearsThis number has a rather annoying tendency to ring me at precisely 8.30 each morning. Most of the time, it’s either just dead air or someone with an Indian accent claiming they’re gathering information for a survey. It’s becoming quite bothersome, to say the least! I do wish that the powers that be would take action to put an end to these persistent calls.13 yearsI've been inundated with calls from this number lately. Every time I answer, it's just dead air on the other end. It's becoming rather tiresome! Can someone intervene and put an end to these pesky calls, please?13 yearsI received a call from the number 02031375041, allegedly associated with a firm called Telephony Services Limited. It's the usual routine with these fraudulent companies-they're notorious for using numbers like 020 7060 9336 and 020 7060 3772. Their spiel generally revolves around offering assistance with computer issues, PPI claims, and accident compensation. They seem to be connected to an outfit named First Call Group, also referred to as 1st Call Group or First Call Centre Solutions, based at 220 Flanders Drive, 4300 Mt Edgecombe, Durban, South Africa, with a telephone number of +27 (0)31 000 0005, and a website located at www.1stcallgroup.com. It’s worth noting that they are NOT authorised by the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (FSMA) to engage in any financial activities within the UK. Such regulated activities encompass advising on investments and facilitating deals, including insurance contracts. It's concerning that this firm might be targeting customers in the UK without proper authorisation. I've lodged a report, detailing the dates and times, with Action Fraud, the police, the Information Commissioner, and the Telephone Preference Service. Unfortunately, they all assert that halting the misuse of UK phone numbers requires "significant numbers of complaints". Despite a plethora of complaints about these entities stretching back four years, it seems that isn't deemed sufficient. It seems our best course of action is to bombard the Minister for Justice with grievances via [email protected]. Perhaps if enough voices are raised, he may compel those in positions of authority to take necessary action!Telephony Services LimitedFirst Call Group1st Call GroupFirst Call Centre SolutionsFlanders DriveMt EdgecombeDurbanSouth Africa1stcallgroupFinancial Services and MarketsUKAction FraudInformation CommissionerTelephone Preference Service13 yearsI've been plagued by this bothersome caller who seems to ring me nearly every day. Every time I'm out and about, I find this number ringing instead of getting calls from my mates or family. The accent sounds Asian, and I usually just tell them that I'm not interested in cold calls. Even as I hang up, they're still harping on, trying to convince me otherwise. From what I've read in others’ experiences, engaging with him can lead to him fishing for sensitive info - quite risky, if you ask me!13 yearsI received a call earlier today. Purely by coincidence, I didn’t pick up. There was no message left, so I decided to return the call around twenty minutes after, mistakenly assuming it was someone I recognised. Turned out it wasn’t. Instead, a robotic voice chimed in with something along the lines of "the individual at extension 123456"-or some other absurdly lengthy number like that-"is currently unavailable." Someone on here questioned what action Ofcom might take. Well, the answer is simple: absolutely nada. Clearly, the telecom companies are cashing in on these calls and the ensuing callbacks, and, like so many British regulators, Ofcom seems to be rather too cosy with those they ought to be monitoring.Ofcom13 yearsThey keep calling me repeatedly throughout the day-it's quite annoying! I've allowed it to go through to voicemail, yet they haven't bothered to leave a message at all. What’s the point, eh?13 yearsReceived a call claiming to be from the UK, yet the fellow was speaking with an Indian twang while conducting a survey. I suggested they save their cash and promptly ended the call.UK13 yearsI keep receiving repeated calls from this number throughout the day. It’s a chap named Jack, and he’s keen on getting me to participate in a survey. What’s the point of incessantly calling the same person all day long?Jack13 yearsMy elderly mother has received numerous calls from this number. She struggles with her hearing and can't quite understand why they're trying to reach her.13 yearsI received a call from a woman who had a distinctly Indian accent, and astonishingly, she knew both my name and postcode. Upon inquiring about her location and the purpose of the call, she merely responded with 'UK.' It seemed to revolve around some sort of survey? At that point, I decided to hang up. Now I’m just bracing myself for the next annoying call to come my way.UK13 yearsI've been bombarded with ten calls from this number within the past day! I picked up the first couple of times and struggled to make sense of the accents - they seemed to be Indian and mentioned something about a survey. There was also quite a lot of echo on the line, so I doubt it’s a legitimate UK company. I've got a call blocking app on my phone, but annoyingly, it still emits a squeaky sound whenever they attempt to ring me. The first intrusion this morning was at 8:31, which isn't exactly the best way to start a Saturday, is it? I briefly contemplated letting them through again just so I could blast something obnoxiously loud into the receiver!UK13 yearsI've just received a rather dubious call from some fellows-Jack, Eric, and Reginald-strikingly Asian monikers, if I'm honest. When I inquired about the weather in his region of the UK, he responded rather rudely by calling me a c@@t. Now I'm left wondering what kind of action Ofcom might take... though I suspect it’ll be a big fat nothing.JackEricReginaldUKOfcom13 yearsI've been receiving calls from this number on a daily basis too. Today, I made it clear that I wasn't interested and hung up. To my surprise, he rang me back, pleading for me to just listen to him - I found it rather unprofessional! Against my better judgement, I ended up conversing with him. He claimed he was conducting a survey and wanted to verify my information. He proceeded to recite my address and asked if it was accurate, to which I promptly replied that it wasn't. Then he inquired about my first name, and when I hesitated to share any personal information over the phone, he became rather disrespectful. Can anyone tell me who this is?????13 yearsFor almost two years now, I’ve relied on a brilliant gadget known as TRUECALL to tackle the nuisance of unwanted calls. It has completely transformed my experience! Rather than whinge about the problem, I decided to do something proactive. My tip to you would be to stop grumbling and invest in a call screening device for your phone. There’s a wide array of options out there, including phones that come with built-in call blocking features. If you seek a tranquil existence, put an end to the complaints and take charge of your situation!13 yearsIt seems that I receive a call from this number nearly every single day. Just this morning at 09:10, I happened to be on my stair lift, making it rather impossible for me to answer the phone. When I finally got the chance to dial back, I was greeted by a recorded message stating that they couldn't accept any messages as their voicemail was at capacity. This has happened to me multiple times after pressing option three to return the call. The frequency of these calls is simply maddening, and I can’t shake the feeling that there’s something nefarious going on. It feels like they’re intentionally harassing people, and those who answer and redial might just be lining their pockets with whatever profits they can extract from these calls. It’s all incredibly suspicious, if you ask me!13 yearsI reckon I might grab a whistle or crank the telly up to full blast; that should do the trick!13 yearsI keep receiving calls from this number non-stop. Just yesterday, I was subjected to some foul language, and when I politely requested they cease contacting me, the chap with an Indian accent assured me he'd make sure to ring me back. He even mentioned he’d add me to some sort of callback list, which I found rather unsettling. This feels quite menacing to me, and it's high time something was done about it.13 yearsI'm not entirely sure what the point is of leaving comments here. Do they actually take any notice? I doubt it, to be honest.13 yearsI just received a call where they referred to me as a "right dodgy git"! Can you believe it? 😅13 yearsI’ve been getting this rather unsettling echo of my own voice during calls, which is quite unnerving! To make matters worse, the line isn't great, so it’s hard to make out what’s actually being said. I've already had two calls like this today, and one was slightly clearer from Lifestyle Surveys. It’s a bit tricky when they’re not based in the UK since they likely aren’t subject to British regulations. However, I once came across a tip about checking Companies House or their website-anyone can access that information. Most of these callers seem to have some sort of connection to a UK-based company that hired them-even if I’m just guessing, it does seem plausible that they're working on behalf of someone here in the UK.UKCompanies House13 yearsI’ve received two calls from this number earlier today. The first call went straight to my voicemail, and they promptly disconnected. On the second attempt, I decided to pick up. I never disclose any details to them and instead flip the script: Who are you exactly? How did you obtain my number? What’s your company’s name? Can you provide a contact number for your organisation? After a bit of back-and-forth, he finally claimed to represent "Lifestyle Surveys". I reminded him that I’m registered with the TPS and instructed him not to ring me again before cutting the conversation short.TPS13 yearsI’m currently looking after a mate’s house, and this number has tried to ring five times today, each time asking for my friend. Every time I mention she’s not here, he just hangs up. On the last occasion, I told him to quit bothering me, but he insisted he wouldn’t cease until he got to chat with her. I’m curious, how does filing a report actually put an end to these incessant calls?13 yearsI've quickly become familiar with these phone numbers, given that I have caller ID. I tend to just let them ring out, as I've discovered that if you pick up, they just persist in pestering you.13 yearsI recently received a call from this number and they disconnected as soon as I answered! Quite frustrating, to say the least.13 yearsI recently received a rather irritating call from an Indian call centre that was trying to put on a British accent. What a nuisance it’s become! I’ve got an ex-directory number and I’m also on the TPS list, yet these bothersome calls just keep coming. I’m absolutely fed up with these persistent pests!TPS13 yearsI've received a few calls from this number lately. What a waste of time!13 yearsKeeps ringing me, despite having told them to stop calling.13 yearsCould someone kindly advise me on how to put an end to these incessant phone calls? I've already received four today, and now it's up to five. I'm quite overwhelmed-any assistance would be greatly appreciated!13 yearsI approached the chap with utmost politeness, requesting him to refrain from ringing this number ever again. I specifically asked if it would be possible to remove my details from his database, to which he bluntly stated, "I won't do that," adding, "Even if you insist, I won't budge." Now, I find myself quite at a loss regarding my next steps. I had hoped this site would offer a solution, yet it appears others are in the same boat as me. What’s the use, really? Why isn’t there any action being taken by the authorities against these mysterious firms that keep pestering us with unwanted calls?13 yearsReceived a call from this number, which popped up on my caller ID. I chose to ignore it, but it's becoming quite vexing, particularly as we’re signed up with the Telephone Preference Service. These persistent calls just keep coming. I can’t help but wonder how they manage to obtain our number, especially since we’re ex-directory! It’s rather frustrating, to say the least!Telephone Preference Service13 yearsYet another annoying ring from some overseas call centre.13 yearsI’ve been receiving an absolute barrage of nuisance calls from this number.13 yearsI receive calls from this number almost daily, and I’ve repeatedly asked them to cease contacting me. Just today, after I hung up on them, they rang back within two minutes! It’s utterly frustrating, and surely something needs to be done about this persistent annoyance!13 yearsI received a call from what sounded like a call centre overseas, and they knew my name. When I inquired about their identity, they fumbled their pronunciation and claimed to be from "Lifestyle Today," stating they were conducting some sort of database update. I informed them that I wasn’t the individual they were looking for and requested to be taken off their list. Instead, they insisted that I participate in their survey, to which I replied that I was busy working. They then suggested that I could still manage the survey despite my work commitments, even cheekily mentioning my boss was right beside me and could also join in. Eventually, I firmly declined their offer. I suspect that by "updating their database," they really meant they would merely pass my number along to other call centres in India, leading to an unending cycle of nuisance calls.Lifestyle TodayIndia13 yearsI received a call from a number that didn't show up on my screen at precisely 6.27 in the evening. An individual with an Indian accent claimed he was conducting a brief two-minute survey. Tired of these pestering calls, I didn’t hold back and was rather curt with him before abruptly ending the conversation. Moments later, my phone rang again, this time from 02031375041. To my surprise, it was the same voice, and he unleashed a string of expletives, hurling abuse at me. I wasted no time in disconnecting the call again.13 yearsI received a call recently, but there was no one on the other end to leave a message.13 yearsHad a rather peculiar experience this morning around 9:15 - received a call but there was absolutely nothing on the other end. This happened on 19th September 2013, just in case anyone else encountered the same oddity.13 yearsRings me daily, it's absolutely infuriating!13 yearsMy elderly mother, who's 73, has been receiving calls from these people inquiring about me. It's quite baffling since I've never resided at her address! How on earth did they manage to track me down? It's quite concerning to think about how they've obtained my name, and I'm rather frustrated that my mum has to endure all these incessant calls. It's really worrying for both of us!13 yearsAn Indian chap called us, claiming to be from a 'pet' establishment, attempting to peddle an adorable little pooch.13 yearsA chap of Indian descent rang me up, claiming to be from "Lifestyle Today," asking me to take part in some survey. I explicitly requested them to stop contacting me and referred to the Telephone Preference Service, yet the calls keep coming. It's quite frustrating, really.Telephone Preference Service13 yearsI received a call earlier today from someone with an Indian accent claiming to be running a "lifestyle survey." I’ve had my fair share of these kinds of nonsense calls, so I quickly dismissed it as a scam and told them to shove off before hanging up. Just a couple of minutes later, they tried again and began hurling profanities at me, calling me an absolute wazzock or something similar, but it was difficult to make out as he lowered his voice. I couldn't help but chuckle at the absurdity and called him a daft little muppet before he hung up on me.
