Got a call from the mobile number 07411 031873. The guy had an Indian accent and said he’s from some "choose lifestyle company" or something, claiming they do market research. Asked loads of personal stuff and wouldn’t give me any proper website or details. Wouldn't recommend picking up.

It’s worth noting that they are NOT authorised by the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (FSMA) to engage in any financial activities within the UK. Such regulated activities encompass advising on investments and facilitating deals, including insurance contracts. It's concerning that this firm might be targeting customers in the UK without proper authorisation. I've lodged a report, detailing the dates and times, with Action Fraud, the police, the Information Commissioner, and the Telephone Preference Service. Unfortunately, they all assert that halting the misuse of UK phone numbers requires "significant numbers of complaints". Despite a plethora of complaints about these entities stretching back four years, it seems that isn't deemed sufficient. It seems our best course of action is to bombard the Minister for Justice with grievances via [email protected]. Perhaps if enough voices are raised, he may compel those in positions of authority to take necessary action!
