I recently got a call regarding some sort of timeshare deal. They claimed that if we had given up our timeshare, we could recover all the cash we forked out from the financial firm that facilitated our purchase. After reaching out to Action Fraud, I can confirm that this is surely a scam.

This is about timeshares, but not for getting a refund from the timeshare firm itself - it's about taking legal action against the people you paid initially to buy the timeshare. They want you to join them in trying to reclaim payments made to the bank going back to 1999 or so, but it feels a bit off. From what I've heard, it's run by volunteers who 'give advice' but I'm not convinced it's legit. Stay clear of them. I've blocked both their numbers, but like most scammers, they just keep calling over and over again, trying to wear you down.
