Some guy with a strong accent called me, saying I’d get 40% off since I’m a loyal Sky customer. He told me I was already approved without giving any details. Then he said they needed to confirm the account holder by checking my email. I said I’d wait for an email to verify. Suddenly he said no, that I have to give him my email, and then they’d confirm it. I wasn’t bothered to argue. My contract is nearly up anyway, so I’ll see what other deals are out there when that happens. Cheers, goodbye...

I got a call from someone saying that because I pay my Sky bills on time, I could get 40% off. They then wanted me to confirm my email address. I told them that if it’s an automatic discount, I shouldn’t have to give out my email again. Just send the confirmation to the one you have, then I ended the call.
