02031337482 rang me earlier today but I decided not to pick up. Then later, a similar unknown number, 02031338429, called me again at almost the same time. Strange how close those numbers are.

I couldn’t tell who called since I let the answering machine pick it up, but the caller just hung up and didn’t leave anything. When I dialled back, BT’s automated voice came on saying something like “sorry, check the number and try again.” Makes me think it was probably some sort of scam, honestly!

They called claiming to be from my washing machine insurance, but when I said I didn’t have any insurance, they just hung up straight away.

I reckon this was one of those scam calls. When I picked up, it was just dead quiet for a bit then suddenly a robot voice said ‘goodbye’ and hung up straight away. It was pretty suspicious.
