This number has rung me up three times now. The first time, a lady introduced herself as Jaidon - I found it odd since that’s usually a lad’s name. We ended up chatting for about fifteen minutes, mostly about baby names. Then she suddenly ended the call. Shortly after, someone named Peter called and tried to convince me I was a tech whiz and that everything was fine with all the computers. I just ended the call straight away. Totally feels like a dodgy scam to me.

Got a call from someone saying they were with computer support limited, told me there was a problem with my computer. I told them I don’t own a computer, then they asked about my tablet or phone. I told them straight up I knew it was a scam and they should just buzz off.

Really annoying that you can't just block every 020 number as they all seem dodgy. But then again, an 020 number could actually be someone calling from London for a proper reason. This call was exactly like the usual ones - you pick up, there’s silence for a couple of seconds, then they hang up. My guess is they're trying to figure out which lines are in use so they can target those for scams later. Probably best to block it, but you can never be certain if it’s just a random number they made up.

Somebody rang claiming to be with 'Internet Support Limited' wanting to chat about problems with my computer. I got a call from 02031314257, which used to be a Carphone Warehouse number but they’ve shut down now. There was a short pause, then this lady with an Asian accent said she was from Network Support and told me my PC had viruses. I told her where to go and ended the call. Weirdly, she called me straight back asking why I’d just hung up. I explained my antivirus was up to date and running, but she kept saying they had special methods to detect stuff my antivirus missed. Totally a scam, no doubt about it.

I received a rather strange call from someone purporting to represent an IT solutions firm. They went on about how someone using Microsoft software, presumably in another location, believed they could track my whereabouts, insisting it wasn’t possible for me to be the issue. I pointed out rather firmly that I have a dedicated IT company managing my software needs, yet they stubbornly insisted that my tech support couldn’t resolve the matter at hand. After I hung up, they had the audacity to call me back! They reiterated their claims, but I made it clear that I'd be reaching out to my IT team for assistance. After politely thanking the caller, I hung up again, despite their relentless attempts to convince me that the problem was unsolvable. Quite the persistence!
