They seemed to know where I live and asked about damp issues, drafts coming through doors or windows, if extractor fans were fitted, or if we had problems with rats or mice. I didn't give them any info. I've blocked the number now.

Got a call from them sayin they can help sort out any repairs that havent been done yet and speed things up! They wanted to check my name and address!!! Sounds a bit too good to be true but they also asked about any unrepaired stuff and tenancy rights to buy!

So, this “Tenant’s help service” keeps calling me every day for a whole week. I told them to remove my number from their list and that I’m not interested in whatever they’re selling. Seems like they don’t care at all. The lady on the phone even said I was being rude for wanting my details taken off and started telling me I’d just end up living in a filthy place! Someone using my info rang me, wanting me to confirm who I was. I told them I wouldn't say either way unless they first said who they were. They said they were from the ‘Tenant Support Team’. I looked it up online and found no such group. I then asked if they belonged to a bigger company. After that, they said they wouldn’t reveal their identity unless I confirmed mine. Pretty obvious scam if you ask me.

Got another call from a scammer so had to block the number again. That’s the fifth dodgy one in just four days! These scammers are getting worse so be careful out there. Never share your info with anyone who rings you out of the blue! Only ever give details to people you contact yourself, and don’t click on any links in texts or emails. This is gonna be a huge issue over the next few months. Most of these scam groups seem to be Russian, which is just awful :(
