My phone buzzed this morning. When I picked up, a voice claimed to be from Amazon UK, saying there was some dodgy activity on my account involving a huge order of safety boots. I wondered why they hadn't informed the police already if some online crooks were spending so much through my Amazon. Things felt fishy, especially when the caller spoke in a strange accent and couldn’t properly explain the situation. I got suspicious straight away. I told them I was with the police and then the call just cut off. Haha! They’re not messing with a former crime investigator from Stockholm!

My phone buzzed, and when I picked up, a voice said they were from Amazon UK, claiming my account had been used to buy loads of safety boots. It’s mad they didn’t bother telling the police if some internet crooks were using my Amazon account for all that. The call freaked me out more since the person sounded odd and didn’t seem to get anything about my Amazon details. I really think something’s dodgy here. I told them I was a copper, then the line just went dead. Ha! Try me - I’m a retired detective from Stockholm and won’t be fooled by these tricksters!
