I genuinely doubt that this was a legitimate call from Barclays. I’ve never had an account with them, so I can’t fathom why they'd be reaching out to me at all. Seems quite suspicious if you ask me!

Got a call from someone yapping about a “car accident” I supposedly had. They wouldn’t say who they were or give any details about the crash because, well, it never happened. When I asked for more info, they got all nasty, said I was bothering them, and just hung up on me! Weird and rude behaviour, honestly.
