Someone’s meant to come by my place sometime between half past three and half past four to drop off a cheque for £3,500 but they’re asking me for a £100 pay save voucher first. Is this something I should be telling the police about?

Total scam! Honestly, don’t waste your time talking to these jokers - if you give them any info, they’ll clean out your bank account. Best thing is to just hang up straight away. Plus, cold calling about PPI claims is actually against the law now anyway.

Beware, got a call that seemed fishy, they kept asking for my bank info. Definitely a scam trying to steal your details!

I got a call from this number where they were trying to get my bank info. They then passed me onto someone else who said I had PPI. They told me I needed to pay £100 at a PayPoint first, and after that they'd send a solicitor with a cheque to my address. Apparently, they were going to give me the £100 back in cash plus a cheque for £4800. Definitely sounds dodgy to me!
