I’ve been informed that an individual is meant to swing by my residence between half three and half four, bringing along a cheque for £3,500. However, they’re requesting a £100 PaySave voucher in return. Should this raise any red flags, and do you think it’s worth notifying the police?

Dodgy lot! Don't give these jokers the time of day, as they’d happily drain your bank account if you share any information with them. Better off just hanging up! They've made it illegal to cold call folks about PPI claims these days, so steer clear!

Fraud alert - attempting to solicit banking information!

I've received calls from this number that seem a bit dodgy. They’re attempting to get my banking info and then pass me on to someone else, claiming that I have PPI. They insist if I stump up £100 via PayPoint, a solicitor will show up at my house with a cheque and hand over £100 in cash, plus a cheque for £4,800. It seems highly suspicious to me!
