I received a rather peculiar phone call today, with someone attempting to convince me to purchase insurance for a washing machine. The strange part is that I don't even own a washing machine! Moreover, the person on the other end couldn't even provide confirmation of my full name or address. Consequently, I promptly blocked the number and ended any further communication.
