I got called by what seemed like a forex broker trying to drum up some clients. They used a number that looked like it was from the UK, but I don’t think the call actually came from here. In the UK, it’s illegal for investment firms to cold call about investments without asking first. So, I reckon they’re outsourcing the calls to somewhere in mainland Europe where that kind of thing is still permitted.
