"Received a call supposedly from someone named Eric at Curry's PC World. However, it was clearly not an official representative. It was a con artist attempting to sell me several bogus mobile phone contracts and clearly trying to swipe my banking details. Be wary!"

Some bloke with an Asian accent called claiming he was from o2, saying I could get 30% off because I’m a loyal customer. When he asked what my monthly bill was, I told him if he really worked for o2, he’d already have that info. Once I said I wasn’t keen, he started offering all sorts of freebies. Total rubbish if you ask me.

Some bloke claimed he was with Three. I kept him on the line, asking him to say the same thing over and over for like 10 minutes. Then I asked if they had any phones on O2 instead - suddenly he was struggling to offer me anything! That’s when I told him I’d really enjoyed wasting his time, cheers for giving me a good 10 minutes. Guess he thought I was pretty rude after that. Can’t win ’em all, eh?

Don't answer this number, it's definitely a scam. Someone rang asking for how much my Virgin Media bill was, but I wouldn’t tell them. When I told them I was busy and couldn’t chat, they just ended the call. Safe to block them straight away.

Initially, the caller claimed to be from EE and tried to sell me an iPhone 14 at half price, but when I asked about my current tariff, they couldn’t give me a straight answer, so I ended the call. Then, they rang back pretending to be from "Phone House," but I told them I wasn’t interested in chatting with scammers and cut off the call again.

I received a call from an unknown number, but I can only assume it's yet another salesperson trying to peddle something totally irrelevant to me. Honestly, I couldn't be bothered to pick up. Why should I? I'm not acquainted with them, and it felt like a completely unwelcome intrusion. Far more interesting activities await, like meticulously counting the blades of grass in my garden or composing these frivolous comments!

I let it ring out, as it seemed likely to be some sort of nuisance call.
