I've had four calls from the number 02031293421 on my mum's phone. It seems these fraudulent chancers are on the hunt for your cash. No matter what they claim, it's best to just cut the call and keep your personal information to yourself. It's a real shame that we find ourselves in a society where there's always someone lurking, eager to deceive a sincere individual. These con artists seem to dedicate their days to spinning tall tales for some nefarious character pulling their strings. It’s quite disheartening, really.

I had a rather similar experience, where the caller pretended to be from BT, insinuating that folks using spyware might be at risk of having their usernames and passwords compromised whilst browsing. Naturally, I contacted BT without delay, only to find out that it was indeed a scam call. They assured me that the genuine company would never reach out unprompted, unless there was an issue with the internet service. I promptly reported the number, as it was evident their next move would have been to fish for my credentials, essentially confirming their deceitful intentions. Moreover, impersonating another company is blatantly fraudulent as well.

Received a rather dodgy call from a chap claiming to be with BT Internet, insisting my computer had been compromised. I questioned how I could verify his employment with BT, and he promptly provided me with the number 02031293421 to ring back for validation. Naturally, I did a quick check on the number, and lo and behold! Just another unscrupulous scammer trying to pull a fast one. Cheers for the heads-up! Stay vigilant, everyone!

What a con artist operation this is!!!!!!

Received a rather alarming call today (3rd November 2016 at 10:12 in the morning) from this number, alleging to be from TalkTalk, mentioning that someone was attempting to breach my IP address. Naturally, I jotted down the number and decided to investigate. Lo and behold! She was fishing for remote access to my computer.

I recently received a call from someone purporting to be from TalkTalk, asserting that there were issues with my internet service. When I expressed my suspicions regarding the legitimacy of the call, the woman-who I suspect might have come from an Indian background-provided me with the number 0203 1293421 and instructed me to ask for Amy Williams. After doing a bit of digging on Google and discovering this site, I can firmly say I won’t be dialling that number anytime soon!

I recently received a rather curious phone call from a woman claiming to be Amy Williams-though I’m skeptical that’s her actual name. She introduced herself as part of the “Offcom Department”, which immediately struck me as odd. She proceeded to inform me that they had detected some dubious activity linked to my broadband account and offered assistance, suggesting that someone was attempting to breach it. Her accent was undeniably strong, hinting at Indian origins, prompting me to inquire about her location. When she stated that they operated out of London, I couldn’t resist asking where exactly in London she resided, given my fondness for the city. An evasive response followed, raising my suspicion that her story was rather flimsy. She claimed that divulging such personal details could get her into serious trouble-quite a ruthless employer, if you ask me! The conversation took another turn when she insisted my broadband had been compromised and sought to know if I wanted her help. I expressed my suspicion that this was, in fact, a scam. Upon realising her ruse had been uncovered, she abruptly told me to “take your broadband and go to hell”-certainly lacking in customer service etiquette! With the number 02031293421 she provided, I decided to ring her back. When “Amy” eventually reappeared on the line, she seemed flustered and struggled to recall our earlier exchange just moments before. She dismissed me again, this time with even more unpleasant language when I questioned her rudeness. It’s evident that these individuals have little regard for either their clientele or their colleagues, and I can't imagine the toll it must take to deceive unsuspecting folks across the UK daily. Remember, no reputable institutions like Offcom, Microsoft, or Apple ever make unsolicited phone calls-it’s all part and parcel of a deceitful scam. Please, don’t spare these scammers a moment’s thought! I hope my experience serves as a warning to you, my friend. It’s a pity we inhabit a world rife with self-serving and callous attitudes, which I witnessed starkly this very morning. By the way, the number from which they called is 0015097923500.
