I had a chap ring me up who said he was representing Microsoft and wanted to chat, addressing me by name, no less. It soon became apparent that his true intention was to infiltrate my computer! Quite dodgy, I must say.

Claimed that I had consented to the school's publication as well. I absolutely did not! They also asserted that I had an outstanding balance with them. It's clearly a con.

I received a call from someone claiming that I’d filled out a document linking my name to a "schools publication" and that an invoice for £5000 would be sent my way! The moment I switched to loudspeaker, the caller hung up without a word... Quite dodgy, if you ask me!
