10 yearsThere’s this firm going by ERPConsultancy Services, claiming they can block nuisance calls. They wanted me to cough up £99 for a ‘lifetime’ plan and asked for my card info to ‘confirm identity’. I gave them bogus card details, just for the hassle, and they must’ve rung me from every single number they had - I guess I was their favourite victim that day! Totally a scam, trying to get that £99 out of me. Bit ironic they claim to help stop fraudsters when they’re dodgy themselves. All the folks I spoke to had Asian accents and they were seriously relentless.ERP Consultancy Services10 yearsI told them my name but they couldn’t really understand it because of their strong accent. They acted like they had my card info and went through some numbers, but most of it was wrong so I just ended the call. They kept saying they got my elderly dad’s info from his service provider, but that was incorrect too.10 yearsGot a call from 02031292165 telling me I needed to pay the annual fee to keep my call blocker going. Dodgy number, definitely blocked now.10 yearsI just received a rather dubious phone call from this number. An Indian gentleman claimed he was calling from Romford Road. When I pressed him for the company name, he mentioned something about Telephone Preference Management. I pointed out that he was merely appropriating the name of our actual Telephone Preference Service. To that, he insisted that I had been inundated with overseas calls and that they could do a far superior job at curbing such nuisance compared to the TPS. But how on earth would he even know that? Be cautious, as the bothersome individuals who harassed me over the past couple of years previously operated under the guise of 'UK Preference' and also pretended to be based in Romford in their attempts to extract my details. I can't shake the feeling that these characters are cut from the same cloth, who’ll hound you relentlessly and then later arrive in a posh white Jaguar, all the while pretending to save you some cash.Romford RoadTelephone Preference ManagementTelephone Preference ServiceTPSUK PreferenceRomfordJaguar10 yearsI received a call claiming to be from BT, inquiring whether my call blocking feature was functioning properly!BT10 yearsThis bloke said his name was aaran and wanted to know when my credit card expires. I told him I'd ring back later, so he gave me this number. Didn’t hang about to find out if he was trying to rip me off or what.Aaran10 yearsThey claimed to be from connect call blockers and somehow knew loads of my personal info. Then they tried to charge me £99 as a one-off setup fee. Totally dodgy!10 yearsI got a call from a guy who said his name was Aaron Williams, but his accent seemed Indian to me! When I asked for his details, he gave me this same number and said he was with ‘Connect Calls’. He said he was ringing about blocking nuisance calls. He already knew my name and number, which made me wary, and then he asked for my Visa card’s expiry date. That made me even more suspicious, so I refused to give any info. The call sounded scratchy and bad quality too. Definitely felt like a scam to me.Aaron WilliamsConnect Calls10 yearsThese are definitely scam callers, total waste of time.10 yearsGot called by someone claiming to be from TPS, said I needed to pay to stop their calls.
