Got a call from this number about 7:05pm today, the person said they were from Carphone Warehouse. They tried to sell me an iPhone X for just £30 upfront which they said I'd get back after 15 days, with the same SIM and unlimited texts, calls, and data. I also got an email with a contract for 24 months, looking legit with the Carphone Warehouse logo. I didn’t trust it at all and ended up blocking the number. Just putting this out there to warn you all. Watch out, it’s definitely a scam!

Honestly, be really careful with those cheap phone deal ads on Facebook, loads of them are scammers from India pretending to be Carphone Warehouse. My daughter got caught out, she bought an iPhone 11 Pro Max with a 3 mobile contract for two years, but instead they sent a Samsung 510 with a Tesco sim. When she tried to get it sorted, they took the wrong phone back but then stopped answering her calls and blocked her. She lost the upfront payment and they even set up a contract in her name. She had to contact her bank and Tesco mobile to stop them from taking any more money.
