Some bloke from India calling up about a “phone house company” deal, trying to sell a two-year iPhone contract. He asked for my email, but his English was terrible, didn’t sound right to me at all. Definitely seemed dodgy.

After seeing what others said, I decided not to pick up and have just blocked the number.

awful connection - i caught “carphone warehouse promo” but the rest was just a jumble of words, really hard to get due to the strong accent. they mentioned something about contracts i'd got recently for me and my other half (which is right) and said i wouldnt want any offers. they kept interrupting me, so i just hung up saying bye.

Got a call from someone with an Indian accent claiming to be from Carphone Warehouse about some special offer. Pretty sure it was a dodgy scam.

I picked up and immediately ended the call. Not long after, my phone just froze and shut down.

This bloke said he was calling from Carphone Warehouse about some iPhone deal. I asked him where he got my number from, and he said it was my network provider. I tried to get him to say which provider, but his accent was so thick I couldn't make it out. When I told him to shut up and listen proper, he had the nerve to call me an old, fat, ugly lady. Lovely, eh?

They called saying they were from carphonewarehouse, but as soon as i told them i wasnt interested in buying a phone, they just dropped the call. Probably some dodgy call centre in india.

Got a call the other day from some promo team claiming to have deals on the iPhone 11. Sounded fishy so I asked a few questions and it soon became clear it was one of those call centre scams trying to get personal info. Luckily, I didn’t fall for it. Just a heads up to watch out for offers that sound too good to be true over the phone!

I answered the call, but all I could hear was some faint noises in the background, no one spoke. I'd say it's better to just not answer.

I’m not really sure what that was about. The phone only rang twice and then stopped. After reading all these comments about this number, I’m relieved I didn’t pick up. I’m going to block it straight away.
