Some bloke rang saying he was from BT Broadband, but I’m not even with BT. I told him I’d ring back soon and ask for some proof. He gave the name David Wilson (had a funny Asian accent, which was odd), said his BT ID was BT410056DQ, and that he was calling from 81 Newgate St, London - which I know is BT’s main office. Anyone can find that info online for a scam. I reported the number on BT’s scam reporting site and then blocked it straight away.
