I received a call from someone claiming to be associated with Sky Protect. However, as soon as I informed the chap that I wasn't a Sky customer, the line went dead. Quite unprofessional, if you ask me!

Good grief, this caller is really getting on my nerves! I had sussed out that it was a cold call, so I’ve taken to ignoring the phone entirely these days. Honestly, we’re long overdue for some decent technology that would allow us to block these annoying callers on our landlines, and wouldn't it be a stroke of genius to make cold-calling illegal? Despite signing up with the "Telephone Preference Service" ages ago, I still find these pesky calls creeping in. It's absolutely ludicrous!

Once again, I’ve been plagued by a call with no one on the other end, despite being signed up with the Telephone Preference Service and having an unlisted number. These call centres are a real nuisance, a constant irritation, and downright intrusive. I do wish there was a way for someone to put a stop to this madness.

I'm sure these fraudsters didn't obtain my telephone number through any lawful means. It seems like they're employing some sort of auto dialling program that just rings numbers at random until someone picks up. I always notice a pause right after I answer but before they start talking. Best advice: just don't pick up and eventually they'll stop bothering you. - caller: 02031212323

I’ve just received a call from this number, where a chap mentioned something about compensation. Oddly enough, earlier today, I answered another call regarding my computer, although that was from a different number: 0019898216962. I informed both of these callers that I’m registered with the TPS and that they really ought to take my number off their lists. It’s quite puzzling to receive two calls in a single day after having a lull for months! Is this just a fluke, or has my number been circulated or sold to these firms by someone?

I'm continually receiving calls from this number, and honestly, it's high time that some government agency took action with all the technology at their disposal. I’ve told them to jog on and find a legitimate job, yet they persistently ring me. I wouldn’t mind giving them a piece of my mind-certain choice words come to mind, if you catch my drift!

I got a call on Saturday night from a guy, sounded like he was either Asian or Middle Eastern, asking if anyone here had been in an accident. This isn’t the first time I’ve had this same call and by now I just hung up straight away. Before, I asked them to take me off their list because I’m with the MPS, but they still keep ringing. A couple of times when I tried to get their company info, they just ended the call. Most of the time the number’s hidden, but this evening it showed up as 02031212323. The caller said it was some kind of accident helpline.

Best to steer clear of this number! They're posing as an accident assistance service, attempting to extract personal details from unsuspecting folks. Simply cut the call short or notify your telecom provider about this pesky nuisance. Don't let them bother you!

Dont trust 0203 1212323, it’s one of those Accident helpline scams. They try to trick you saying theres some accident or claim info, but it’s all a load of rubbish. Today I finally picked up this number on my landline after dodging it for about a fortnight - I usually don’t bother when I see it’s unknown. The moment I answered, the caller just went dead silent and dropped the call. Don’t get why they bothered ringing if they were just cold calling. Honestly, I think they’re just checking if the number’s live, which is annoying. If they try again, I’ll definitely be blocking them. I’m really fed up with these annoying calls coming from all sorts of numbers day after day!

I've been bombarded by this individual with an Indian accent ringing my phone relentlessly. I took the liberty of trying to block the number, but somehow, the calls keep coming through. It's becoming quite the bother, as this person has a knack for calling me up to 20 times a day! Even after I’ve explained that there are no car accidents associated with my address, he insists on continuing to contact us and refuses to take our number off his list. He claims he purchased this list, but I’m left wondering: where on earth do they acquire these numbers? It’s a rarity that I share our home phone number, and I’ve certainly not signed up for any mailing lists or provided it to anyone who could sell it on.

Most of the time it's some dodgy caller from India pretending to be about a personal injury claim. If I feel like having a bit of fun, I spin them a tale about how I was paid to take someone out, and ended up running them over, but sadly some pedestrians got caught up in it too. One bloke smashed through my windscreen, and I got a small cut from the glass flying about. Can't remember the car’s plate cause it was nicked, and I burned it afterwards. They only gave me 10 grand for the job, so if they want to throw me some compensation that'd be ace! This usually ends with them passing me on to another scammer who soon catches on I’m winding them up - especially when I say my name’s Bruce Wayne. - caller: Claiming to be from the National Accident Helpline

I registered my number with the Telephone Preference Service, but it seems that calls from abroad still slip through. This particular number tried to reach me while I was on my mobile, so I chose not to answer. Given what I've read from others' experiences, I’m relieved I didn’t pick up; it would have likely just annoyed me further. A rather entertaining tactic I’ve found is to say I’ll fetch the person in charge and then just hang up-total waste of their time! Additionally, I'm experimenting with high-pitched sounds that would be utterly grating for the caller on the other end!

Got a call from some accident helpline, this bloke sounded Indian. I acted like I was really into what he was saying but started messing about bit by bit. Eventually, I told him my car was actually a Matchbox toy and that I’d run over a dead cat and almost killed it. Lately, I've been bombarded with calls at all hours, and it's becoming quite tiresome. It all kicked off with a rather intrusive call from what seemed to be personal injury solicitors asking about a car accident I had - I quickly put a stop to that conversation as soon as I realised their intentions. Despite my swift disconnection, I've continued to receive no fewer than twenty calls from unfamiliar numbers, those withheld, and some that start with 00. The most recent perpetrator is the one listed above. Ever since that first unwelcome call, I’ve decided not to engage with any numbers I don’t recognise. Here’s hoping they lose interest before I do!

I've been getting persistent calls from this number, even after I've tucked my little ones in for the night. Just today, I told the chap on the line that I wanted to speak to a manager. Instead, he put on a whole different accent! I requested that he remove my details from their records, but he had the audacity to say he didn't even have my number. I've been receiving incessant calls from this number, even during the times when I've settled my children down for the night. Just earlier today, I insisted on speaking with the Manager. It was quite curious as he altered his voice in the process. I demanded he take my number off their list, and despite his persistent calling, he claimed he didn't possess my details. When I threatened to lodge a complaint against their organisation, he rather cheekily remarked, "You haven't a clue about our company’s name or number, so your threats are meaningless." I received a rather peculiar call from an Indian woman who insisted that someone in my family had encountered an accident in the past three years. I was taken aback and mentioned that no one had mentioned anything like that to me. She then suggested I inquire with my relatives to find out who it might have been. I responded, rather bluntly, that I couldn't do that since they are all no longer with us. She pressed for details, asking if it was indeed an accident. I cheekily replied that it was far from an accident, as I had taken matters into my own hands, and they are now resting beneath my patio. The call ended rather abruptly, I must say! Quite the giggle!

I’ve had this number ring me multiple times today, but annoyingly, they never bother to leave a message. By the third call, I decided to ignore it altogether. After doing a bit of digging, it appears this might be one of those dodgy scam calls pretending to be from an accident helpline called Rok Vox Co. Uk?

I’m experiencing exactly the same issue - I pick up the phone, and it's just dead air. Do you reckon these could be genuine calls, or are they merely bots trying to confirm if the numbers are active? It seems that signing up for the Telephone Preference Service is utterly pointless!

Today I got a call from them again, and it’s definitely not the first time. They claim to be some sort of accident helpline. The number was 02031212323. Quite annoying really.

Each evening without fail, my phone rings from this number, but as soon as I pick up, the line goes silent. I'm listed as an ex-directory, so it’s quite puzzling. Does anyone have any advice on how to put a stop to this? It’s becoming rather tiresome!

Just like many others, I received a call from someone who had an Indian accent, claiming they were aware of an incident involving someone with my phone number. It’s evidently a scam, but it leaves me concerned that I might end up incurring charges for this call!

I keep getting calls on my landline from this number, but whenever I pick up, there’s just silence on the other end. Quite strange, really!

These pesky insurance hawkers just won't take a hint! The next time one of them calls, I’ll simply tell them to stop ringing my number. Enough is enough!

I received two calls from this number last night, but nobody replied. Quite odd, isn’t it?

ACCIDENT HELPLINE - These fools ring our whole phone system like 5 or 6 times every day. They totally ignore any hint to buzz off. Best way? Just pick up and shout right into the receiver. Caller’s def a SCAM - ACCIDENT HELPLINE from MUMBAI, INDIA.

Got a call from some Indian guy claiming to be from an accident helpline. Funny thing is, only my family should have my number, so I’m not sure how he got it. I kept telling him to take me off their list but he just kept cutting me off and trying to push whatever service he was offering. Oh, and my provider is Sky. Really annoying!

Received a call from this number earlier tonight, and as soon as I replied with a "hello," the caller disconnected. What a right pain!

I received a call from this number earlier, but to my surprise, no one uttered a word. Instead, there was a faint buzz of voices that seemed to be from some call centre in the distance. After greeting them a few times with a "hello," they simply cut the line. Quite peculiar, really!

It's becoming quite bothersome, honestly. This number won’t stop ringing me, and it’s really starting to irritate me.

I gave a polite greeting a few times, but there was no reply, so I decided to end the call.

About the number 001 203 121 2323, I received a call from them around 7 in the evening yesterday. The operator seemed to be from an Indian call centre. Their initial pitch was something along the lines of, "We've been informed that someone associated with this number has experienced an accident in recent years." It's worth noting that my number is ex-directory and on the TPS list. I pressed them repeatedly for the name of the individual they were trying to reach, but they just ended the call.

A few minutes back, I received a call from this number. I answered with a 'hello' but was met with complete silence. I repeated my greeting, and eventually, a man responded with his own 'hello'. After that, I said hello once more, only to have the line go dead. My phone indicates it’s an overseas number.

Appreciate the details! If they ring me again, I’ll simply ignore the call.

Does anyone know who this might be? I answered the call, but as soon as I did, they just cut the line. Very strange!

These seem to be the run-of-the-mill nuisance calls. They go on about being from some accident and health department, probing if you’ve been in an accident. When I inquired how they obtained my number, mentioning I was inclined to report them to the authorities for breaching my privacy (they’ve rung me several times this month), they abruptly cut the line. Quite dodgy, really!

I keep receiving calls from this number, but they never bother to leave a message. When I attempt to ring it back, I'm met with a recorded voice saying I've dialled an invalid number. Could this be a scam?
