I received a call from someone claiming to be associated with Sky Protect. However, as soon as I informed the chap that I wasn't a Sky customer, the line went dead. Quite unprofessional, if you ask me!

Good grief, this caller is really getting on my nerves! I had sussed out that it was a cold call, so I’ve taken to ignoring the phone entirely these days. Honestly, we’re long overdue for some decent technology that would allow us to block these annoying callers on our landlines, and wouldn't it be a stroke of genius to make cold-calling illegal? Despite signing up with the "Telephone Preference Service" ages ago, I still find these pesky calls creeping in. It's absolutely ludicrous!

Once again, I’ve been plagued by a call with no one on the other end, despite being signed up with the Telephone Preference Service and having an unlisted number. These call centres are a real nuisance, a constant irritation, and downright intrusive. I do wish there was a way for someone to put a stop to this madness.

It's quite apparent that these fraudsters must have obtained my number through some dubious means. I suspect they're utilising auto-dialling technology that randomly dials various numbers until they get a live one. Every time I pick up the phone, there’s this irritating pause before the caller starts their spiel. Best advice? Just ignore the call, and hopefully, they’ll take a hint and leave us alone. - number: 02031212323

I’ve just received a call from this number, where a chap mentioned something about compensation. Oddly enough, earlier today, I answered another call regarding my computer, although that was from a different number: 0019898216962. I informed both of these callers that I’m registered with the TPS and that they really ought to take my number off their lists. It’s quite puzzling to receive two calls in a single day after having a lull for months! Is this just a fluke, or has my number been circulated or sold to these firms by someone?

I recently received a call from 02031212323; it was a woman of Asian descent asserting she was with an accident helpline. When I probed her a bit further, she abruptly ended the call. Quite suspicious, I must say.

I'm continually receiving calls from this number, and honestly, it's high time that some government agency took action with all the technology at their disposal. I’ve told them to jog on and find a legitimate job, yet they persistently ring me. I wouldn’t mind giving them a piece of my mind-certain choice words come to mind, if you catch my drift!

I received a rather peculiar call on Saturday evening from a gentleman who appeared to either be of Asian descent or possibly Middle Eastern. He inquired if anyone at my residence had been involved in an accident. This isn’t the first time I’ve encountered this type of call; in fact, I've had several similar experiences, which is precisely why I chose to terminate the conversation prematurely this time around. Previously, I've requested them to take my number off their list, as I’m registered with the Mail Preference Service (MPS). There have been instances when I attempted to ascertain their real company details, but they've swiftly ended the call before addressing my queries. Usually, their number comes up as withheld, but on this occasion, the number displayed was 02031212323, and they identified themselves as the Accident Helpline.

Best to steer clear of this number! They're posing as an accident assistance service, attempting to extract personal details from unsuspecting folks. Simply cut the call short or notify your telecom provider about this pesky nuisance. Don't let them bother you!

I recently received a call from the number 0203 1212323, which purports to be affiliated with an Accident Helpline. Let me tell you, these folks are up to no good. They've got a knack for misleading you into thinking they possess details about an accident you might be involved in. Best advice? Don't engage with them-just hang up immediately. We’ve had this number ring our home phone twice today, but as we didn’t have a clue who it belonged to, we decided to let it go to voicemail. We’re on the ex-directory list and have also signed up with the Telephone Preference Service, yet it seems that doesn’t deter international callers. Reading through the other posts here, we’ve made the call to ignore them entirely. Fingers crossed they’ll soon lose interest! - caller: unknown

Today, I finally decided to pick up the phone after avoiding this number for a fortnight on my landline. I could see who was calling, but when I answered, they just disconnected! I can't quite figure out if they were just your run-of-the-mill cold callers or what. Now I’m left regretting it, as it feels like they’re just poking around to confirm the number is live. If that lot try ringing me again, they’ll be getting blocked, no doubt! I’ve had more than my fair share of these annoying calls coming in from various numbers each day, and I’m absolutely fed up!

I've been bombarded by this individual with an Indian accent ringing my phone relentlessly. I took the liberty of trying to block the number, but somehow, the calls keep coming through. It's becoming quite the bother, as this person has a knack for calling me up to 20 times a day! Even after I’ve explained that there are no car accidents associated with my address, he insists on continuing to contact us and refuses to take our number off his list. He claims he purchased this list, but I’m left wondering: where on earth do they acquire these numbers? It’s a rarity that I share our home phone number, and I’ve certainly not signed up for any mailing lists or provided it to anyone who could sell it on.

Typically, it’s just a scam artist or some daft individual from India trying their luck. When I’m feeling cheeky, I spin them a yarn about how I was supposedly hired to eliminate someone. I tell them I ran them over, but there happened to be a few pedestrians in the way. One poor soul ended up smashing through my windscreen, and I got a tiny cut from the glass flying around-not that it bothered me much. The vehicle? Oh, only a stolen one that I set ablaze afterwards. They paid me a mere £10,000 for the job, so really, any extra cash would be welcome! That usually prompts them to pass me along to another unsuspecting scammer who eventually clocks that I’m just having a laugh, especially when I casually mention that I go by the name Bruce Wayne. - Caller: Claiming to be from the National Accident Helpline.

The phone started ringing, and as I looked down, I saw '2323' flashing on the display. Curiosity got the better of me, so I answered it, but there was utter silence on the other end. I registered my number with the Telephone Preference Service, but it seems that calls from abroad still slip through. This particular number tried to reach me while I was on my mobile, so I chose not to answer. Given what I've read from others' experiences, I’m relieved I didn’t pick up; it would have likely just annoyed me further. A rather entertaining tactic I’ve found is to say I’ll fetch the person in charge and then just hang up-total waste of their time! Additionally, I'm experimenting with high-pitched sounds that would be utterly grating for the caller on the other end!

I had a right laugh with an accident hotline the other day-some bloke with a thick Indian accent. I feigned a genuine interest just to see how far I could take it. As the chat went on, I started leading him on with ridiculous tales, claiming my vehicle was a toy from Matchbox and that I had the misfortune of running over a poor deceased feline that I’d half maimed. Lately, I've been bombarded with calls at all hours, and it's becoming quite tiresome. It all kicked off with a rather intrusive call from what seemed to be personal injury solicitors asking about a car accident I had - I quickly put a stop to that conversation as soon as I realised their intentions. Despite my swift disconnection, I've continued to receive no fewer than twenty calls from unfamiliar numbers, those withheld, and some that start with 00. The most recent perpetrator is the one listed above. Ever since that first unwelcome call, I’ve decided not to engage with any numbers I don’t recognise. Here’s hoping they lose interest before I do!

I've been getting persistent calls from this number, even after I've tucked my little ones in for the night. Just today, I told the chap on the line that I wanted to speak to a manager. Instead, he put on a whole different accent! I requested that he remove my details from their records, but he had the audacity to say he didn't even have my number. I've been receiving incessant calls from this number, even during the times when I've settled my children down for the night. Just earlier today, I insisted on speaking with the Manager. It was quite curious as he altered his voice in the process. I demanded he take my number off their list, and despite his persistent calling, he claimed he didn't possess my details. I received a rather peculiar call from an Indian woman who insisted that someone in my family had encountered an accident in the past three years. I was taken aback and mentioned that no one had mentioned anything like that to me. She then suggested I inquire with my relatives to find out who it might have been. I responded, rather bluntly, that I couldn't do that since they are all no longer with us. She pressed for details, asking if it was indeed an accident. It’s high time the telecom regulators clamped down on such mischief-makers and imposed hefty fines to drive them out of business!

I've recently set up BT Guardian on my mobile. While it hasn’t entirely stopped the pesky calls from coming through, it certainly helps in ensuring they don’t interrupt my day. I’d definitely suggest it-just to be clear, I’m not affiliated with BT or anything! Haha!

Received a call from an Indian number. As per the norm, I picked up and greeted with a couple of "hellos" before the person on the other end seemed to come to life. The connection was dreadful, likely one of those dodgy Skype calls from India. Eventually, the line either cut off or they decided to hang up. By the way, I’m registered with the Telephone Preference Service. - Caller: Indian

I've received multiple calls spaced out by a couple of hours. When I pick up, there's either silence or what sounds like distant chatter, almost like a call centre. Very odd!

I’ve had this number ring me multiple times today, but annoyingly, they never bother to leave a message. By the third call, I decided to ignore it altogether. After doing a bit of digging, it appears this might be one of those dodgy scam calls pretending to be from an accident helpline called Rok Vox Co. Uk?

I’m experiencing exactly the same issue - I pick up the phone, and it's just dead air. Do you reckon these could be genuine calls, or are they merely bots trying to confirm if the numbers are active? It seems that signing up for the Telephone Preference Service is utterly pointless!

I received a call from this number today, and it's certainly not the first time I've heard from these folks claiming to be from an accident helpline. The caller ID was 02031212323.

Each evening without fail, my phone rings from this number, but as soon as I pick up, the line goes silent. I'm listed as an ex-directory, so it’s quite puzzling. Does anyone have any advice on how to put a stop to this? It’s becoming rather tiresome!

Just like many others, I received a call from someone who had an Indian accent, claiming they were aware of an incident involving someone with my phone number. It’s evidently a scam, but it leaves me concerned that I might end up incurring charges for this call!

I keep getting calls on my landline from this number, but whenever I pick up, there’s just silence on the other end. Quite strange, really!

These pesky insurance hawkers just won't take a hint! The next time one of them calls, I’ll simply tell them to stop ringing my number. Enough is enough!

I received two calls from this number last night, but nobody replied. Quite odd, isn’t it?

ACCIDENT HELP LINE - These muppets seem to think it’s perfectly alright to ring our phone system incessantly, around five or six times each day! They clearly don’t take the hint to bugger off... I’ve resorted to just picking up and bellowing into the phone! Caller: SCAM - ACCIDENT HELP LINE FROM MUMBIA INDIA!

I received a call from a chap, seems to be of Asian or Indian descent, claiming to be from some sort of accident helpline service. The thing is, only my family should really have access to my home number. I repeatedly requested that he take my details out of their records, but he just kept on talking over me, persistently attempting to pitch his services. By the way, I’m with Sky for my phone service.

Received a call from this number earlier tonight, and as soon as I replied with a "hello," the caller disconnected. What a right pain!

I received a call from this number earlier, but to my surprise, no one uttered a word. Instead, there was a faint buzz of voices that seemed to be from some call centre in the distance. After greeting them a few times with a "hello," they simply cut the line. Quite peculiar, really!

It's becoming quite bothersome, honestly. This number won’t stop ringing me, and it’s really starting to irritate me.

I gave a polite greeting a few times, but there was no reply, so I decided to end the call.

About the number 001 203 121 2323, I received a call from them around 7 in the evening yesterday. The operator seemed to be from an Indian call centre. Their initial pitch was something along the lines of, "We've been informed that someone associated with this number has experienced an accident in recent years." It's worth noting that my number is ex-directory and on the TPS list. I pressed them repeatedly for the name of the individual they were trying to reach, but they just ended the call.

A few minutes back, I received a call from this number. I answered with a 'hello' but was met with complete silence. I repeated my greeting, and eventually, a man responded with his own 'hello'. After that, I said hello once more, only to have the line go dead. My phone indicates it’s an overseas number.

Appreciate the details! If they ring me again, I’ll simply ignore the call.

Does anyone know who this might be? I answered the call, but as soon as I did, they just cut the line. Very strange!

These seem to be the run-of-the-mill nuisance calls. They go on about being from some accident and health department, probing if you’ve been in an accident. When I inquired how they obtained my number, mentioning I was inclined to report them to the authorities for breaching my privacy (they’ve rung me several times this month), they abruptly cut the line. Quite dodgy, really!

I keep receiving calls from this number, but they never bother to leave a message. When I attempt to ring it back, I'm met with a recorded voice saying I've dialled an invalid number. Could this be a scam?
