I'm sure these fraudsters didn't obtain my telephone number through any lawful means. It seems like they're employing some sort of auto dialling program that just rings numbers at random until someone picks up. I just received a call from this number, with the person claiming it was regarding some kind of compensation. Interestingly, earlier today I got another call too, but from a different number (0019898216962) and they were talking about my computer. I told both callers straight away that I’m on the TPS register and they shouldn’t be ringing me, asking them to take my number off their databases. It’s weird because I haven’t had any calls like this in ages, and suddenly two in one day. Makes me wonder if my number’s been shared or sold to these firms somehow?

Dont trust 0203 1212323, it’s one of those Accident helpline scams. They try to trick you saying theres some accident or claim info, but it’s all a load of rubbish. Today I finally picked up this number on my landline after dodging it for about a fortnight - I usually don’t bother when I see it’s unknown. The moment I answered, the caller just went dead silent and dropped the call. Don’t get why they bothered ringing if they were just cold calling. Honestly, I think they’re just checking if the number’s live, which is annoying. If they try again, I’ll definitely be blocking them. I keep getting calls from someone with an Indian accent who won’t stop ringing my number. I’ve tried blocking them multiple times, but the calls still keep coming through somehow. It’s becoming really annoying because this person can call me like 20 times daily! I’ve told him several times that no one here has been in a car crash, but he won’t listen and refuses to take our details off his list. Apparently, he says he bought the list from somewhere. Most of the time it's some dodgy caller from India pretending to be about a personal injury claim. If I feel like having a bit of fun, I spin them a tale about how I was paid to take someone out, and ended up running them over, but sadly some pedestrians got caught up in it too. One bloke smashed through my windscreen, and I got a small cut from the glass flying about. Can't remember the car’s plate cause it was nicked, and I burned it afterwards. They only gave me 10 grand for the job, so if they want to throw me some compensation that'd be ace! My phone buzzed and when I looked, the number just showed as 2323. I answered straight away but no one spoke at the other end, so I put it down. Tried to pick it up again but it just stayed busy, so I ended up calling my mobile to get the line free. No idea who that was - unknown caller.

I've put my number on the TPS list but it only seems to block calls from within the UK. Got a call from abroad recently but I was out and about on my mobile so didn't even pick up. Looking back at other comments, probably for the best - answering would have just stressed me out more. A good little trick is to tell them you'll get the person they want, then just hang up straight away and move on. Eventually, I told him my car was actually a Matchbox toy and that I’d run over a dead cat and almost killed it. This number made up nearly 8% of all the calls I got in December - seriously persistent! For Christmas I got myself a Truecall device (www dot truecall dot co dot uk) and I added this specific number to the block list on 25th December. Since then, it’s tried ringing me 7 more times but I haven’t answered. Crazy thing is I’m in the UK but the caller’s from the US - no clue how I ended up on that spam list. Trying to reason with them is useless, they know about TPS but just ignore it, and with number spoofing being so easy now they just keep switching numbers. I reckon this company has used at least sixteen different numbers to bug me! I’ve blocked all of them but this one’s been the most annoying, especially over the Christmas period.

Got a call from this number earlier. When I answered, there was no one there but I could definitely hear loads of chatter in the background, like a busy call centre or something. I said hello a couple of times but then the line just went dead. Strange.

Got a call from 001 203 121 2323 yesterday just after seven in the evening. It definitely sounded like a call centre from India. They started by saying something like "someone linked to this number has been involved in an accident recently". But my phone number isn’t public and it’s on the TPS list. I kept asking who exactly they were trying to reach but after a few attempts, they just ended the call.

Just got a call from this number. I picked up and said hello but not a peep, so I tried saying hello once more. After a bit, a bloke finally said hello back. I said hello again and then they just cut the call. My phone says it's an overseas number. Cheers for the heads-up. If they ring back, I'll simply ignore it.

I've been getting these annoying calls from someone claiming to be from an accident and health team. They keep asking if I've had any accidents recently. When I questioned where they got my number from, as I wanted to report them for privacy invasion since this isn't the first time this month they've phoned me, they just ended the call on me. Proper spammy behaviour.

I keep getting calls from this number but there’s never a message left. When I try ringing it back, the message says the number is invalid. Sounds like it could be a scam to me?
