They called back today claiming to be from Scottish Power, saying a meter reader had visited recently and taken a wrong reading, asking me to confirm the figures. I told them no one had been here but still gave the readings just to be safe. Later, I looked up the number and it seems dodgy, not really linked to Scottish Power. I'll drop them an email to verify what's going on.

Someone called me from this number and it just went straight to voicemail. All I could hear was a click and then what sounded like them hanging up. No idea who it was though.
