Received a call from this number earlier today, but strangely, no one responded. I've never come across them before, and we handle all our banking matters ourselves. Seems rather dodgy, if you ask me!

The time has come for Halifax credit card payments to come to a close.

It seems these callers are representing Halifax and are on a mission to collect on overdue payments. It's bewildering, really, given that the amount in question is a mere fiver! We just had a chat with a representative from the bank, who confirmed this. Regardless, we’ll be contacting Halifax ourselves to settle any dues directly with them!

In connection with earlier remarks dated 12th July 2008, it appears that this number was originally managed by Colt but was subsequently utilised by their customer, Agilisys Ltd (website: agilisys.co.uk), a company offering various services. Notably, HBOS was among Agilisys’s primary clients, but it's entirely feasible that Agilisys might redirect their lines based on the varying demands of their clientele. The head office of Agilisys was located at 26-28 Hammersmith Grove, Hammersmith, London, W6 7AW, UK. Should you wish to reach them, their phone number is +44 (0)845 450 1131, whilst their fax can be sent to +44 (0)845 450 1132, and for general inquiries, you can drop them an email at [email protected].

I've been plagued by this bothersome individual who rings me at least five times a day without fail. It's becoming quite tiresome!

I attempted to return the call but, unfortunately, it didn't yield any results. However, the individual who rang me did take a moment to introduce themselves as a representative from the council of the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham.

They’ve been calling us about five or six times since Saturday, trying to get hold of a mate of mine. Apparently, these folks are linked to Halifax or HBOS and are affiliated with Agilisis. I thought I’d give them a bell back, but now I’m just hanging about waiting for their return call-quite the irony, if you ask me. What’s a bit strange is that my mate has been divorced for over a year and changed his surname roughly around the same period. I made it clear to them that I’d be quite blunt if they tried ringing again!

Oi Chris, you’re being a bit daft, aren’t you? Just settle your credit card bill, and the persistent calls will stop, simple as that. I find it amusing that you’re playing detective, trying to verify who's on the other end of the line. If you really want to know who I am, I’m happy to provide whatever details you need to clear up this mystery. Now, stop daydreaming and sort out your finances; if you can’t handle it, maybe you should’ve thought twice before getting into it in the first place!

What on earth is going on with these callers? For the last month, we've been plagued by incessant phone calls-I'm talking about 10 to 15 times a day! It's quite unnerving, to be honest, and while we don’t want to be rude, we’re also concerned it could be a legitimate call from our bank or something similar. If anyone has any advice on how to handle this situation, it would be greatly appreciated!

Haha, it seems like everyone here has got a bit of a financial tie to Halifax. Whether it's your credit card or your bank account, looks like they’ve had quite an impact on many!

Absolutely, we’re experiencing the same issue here. It seems that the person they’re trying to reach has never been associated with our phone number. This number has belonged to us for six years now, following my ex. They've directed us to contact the nuisance call bureau at 0800 411 422, available Monday to Friday. Oddly enough, BT claims that few complaints have been noted for this number. I suppose I'll give them a bell and see what unfolds.

Today, this number buzzed both our home and mobile phones. We chose not to answer, and they didn't leave any message. When we tried to return the call (with our number hidden), we were met with a pre-recorded message stating, 'One of my agents tried to get in touch with you today. They'll call back later.' It’s rather disconcerting that they didn’t identify the organisation behind the number, which we find quite inappropriate. It's difficult to fathom that any respectable company would resort to such practices.

An absolute bother, this individual keeps ringing non-stop, like every ten seconds or so!

Please refrain from calling me again. I'm not interested in any of your nonsense. If I receive another call from you, I will take this matter to the authorities. Consider this your final warning.

I've been getting persistent calls from this number, but they never bother to leave a message. When I attempted to return the call, a recorded voice responded, claiming they had tried to reach me and would be in touch again. It’s absolutely preposterous!

Gave them a bell, only to be left hanging on hold before they abruptly cut the call. It's utterly frustrating as we’re in the property game, and it ends up being a complete time waster for us.

Alright, folks, here’s how to deal with these pesky callers. The moment they start demanding your personal information like your date of birth or postcode, simply turn the tables and reply with, "How about you prove your identity first? Once you’re officially with our bank, you can easily share specific details." You'd be surprised at the reaction-they often get quite irate, try to wiggle out of it, and hang up in a huff! It's honestly quite entertaining, especially when you’ve got it on speaker! What a laugh! Cheers! xxx

They've called us roughly five times over the past fortnight. We haven't been able to answer as we're busy at work, and when we finally try to return the call, we just get a message saying, "One of our representatives tried to reach you and will call back soon." It's rather infuriating!

In the last week, our phone has gone off a whopping 13 times from the same caller based in Shannon, Ireland. It seems that if we don’t engage with their probing enquiries, we’ll just be bombarded with endless call-backs. We’ve been told these calls have nothing to do with Halifax Bank, so I urge everyone to be cautious and mindful of these persistent callers.

Honestly, it’s becoming a right nuisance! I get calls from this number twice a day without fail. I’ve got this rule about not picking up for numbers I don’t recognise-hence why the trusty answer machine is my saviour. It allows me to decide later if it’s worth my while to ring them back. But here’s the kicker: they never bother to leave a message! It’s infuriating!

Rang us at a rather early 8.15 in the morning with a thick Asian accent that made him quite difficult to comprehend. He was after my husband and proceeded to request a password as well as our postcode. My husband, not in the mood, eventually told them to ring back at a more convenient time. They claimed to be from Marble Credit Card, but it all seemed a bit dodgy.
