I received a call from a chancer claiming to be from the fraud prevention office. The moment I picked up, I could hear a gaggle of people snickering in the background. It was all a bit dodgy, so I promptly ended the call.

I got a call from +442030979824 saying I was owed money in bitcoin. When I told them I worked in fraud investigation, they got really annoyed and refused to hang up. I had to tell them that by law I needed to record the call and only then did they finally drop the line. These folks are not worth your time - they’re aggressive, rude and clearly trying to scam you. Avoid any contact with them!

I got two calls from this number, picked up the second one. There was only silence with a faint buzz in the background, no typical call centre noises or anything like that. Seems like they might just be recording to catch someone talking. I’ve put it in my spam caller list and blocked it now.
