I received a rather unsettling phone call from someone claiming to represent an investigative firm. They insisted that an allegation had been made, suggesting I was a victim of fraud. According to them, I hadn’t reported the incident myself; rather, someone else had done so on my behalf. They then grilled me with a straightforward yes or no question about whether I had indeed fallen for a scam. I replied in the negative, and then, just like that, the call ended abruptly. Beware, as they may appear to offer assistance, but there’s a chance they could be up to no good themselves! 😉

I received a rather peculiar call from an outfit claiming to be an investigative firm, insisting that I was reported for being the victim of a scam. They mentioned that I hadn’t lodged a report myself, but that somebody else had done so on my behalf. The chap on the other end then inquired if I had indeed fallen for any scams, to which I replied with a firm no. And just like that, he abruptly ended the call. Beware; they might feign to assist you, but they could very well be up to no good themselves! 😉
