Got a call from someone claiming to be from EE, saying they could lower my bills. I've almost fallen for these sort of deals previously, so I told them I'd verify it with EE's security team before doing anything.

I’ve been receiving calls from 02030971109 where the caller pretends to be from SKY. They tell me my SIM has to be updated immediately or else my number will be cut off. The person sounds like they’re trying to be legit but keeps pestering me for my personal info. When I don’t share anything, they seem to get annoyed and just end the call. Plus, you can hear loads of chatter in the background which makes it even dodgier!

There was definitely a call centre noise in the background but when I said hello, no one answered. I’m on the TPS list, so I’m really tired of these dodgy callers and the companies that hand out their numbers.

I answered an automated call and all it did was say goodbye in a robotic tone before hanging up. Seems like they were just testing if the number was live so they can pass it on to more scammers. Bit annoying really.

I picked up and as soon as I did, the caller said goodbye in this weird robotic AI voice and then just hung up. I reckon it's just one of those scam calls checking if your number’s live. Definitely advise blocking it!

I picked up without saying anything, then all I heard was silence followed by a robot lady just saying ‘goodbye’. From what I’ve seen on here, sounds like one of those spam calls. Best to just not pick up and block the number right away if you can. I read somewhere that even answering can flag your phone as ‘active’ and lead to more calls. Maybe just letting it ring or quietly answering works better? Fingers crossed it helps!

I got a call from someone claiming to be with Virgin, telling me about a discount for bad internet service. They kept trying to get more info about my bank when I was on the phone. It was creepy because they already had some details like my account number. I ended up telling them the first four digits, and somehow they knew the last four. As soon as they asked for my entire card number, I just ended the call. I really hope they didn’t steal any money. At first, they sounded alright but then got really pushy. Also, the call kept cutting out and was terrible quality.

I've been getting calls from 0203 097 1109 and it's clear it's a scam coming from somewhere in Asia. They are really pushy trying to trick you into giving them your bank info. The worrying part is they already seem to know some stuff about me, like they’ve done some digging before or got it from somewhere else under false pretences. It looks like these scammers work together and swap our info around. They tried to fool me by claiming to be from Sky, but my daughter got a call too, and they said they were with O2.

Not sure who it was cause I didn’t keep the call going - I picked up by mistake, was waiting on another phone call, then when I heard some hold music I ended it straight away. Usually those calls are from those automated dialers that link you to a human once you answer. I’m in Australia and don’t recognise the number at all, it’s not anyone from my family or mates. It even rang my mobile, which probably cost them a few pence, so I’m guessing it might be some sort of scam.
