Got a call from a young bloke with an English accent talking about my washing machine warranty running out or something dodgy like that. He actually knew my name and address, which was a bit creepy. When I asked him the company’s name again, he just hung up. Absolute scammers, the lot of them!

Some bloke named William rang me up, saying my washing machine warranty had run out. When I asked him what brand the machine was, he said he didn’t know. Then I questioned how he could be so sure the warranty expired if he didn’t even know the make. He reckoned they work alongside manufacturers and get told these things. I told him if that’s true, he should know the brand and to stop taking the mickey. FYI, my washing machine's second hand and has been in use for way over a year already!
