Phone number ☎️ 02030953265 👆 is reported as a persistent scam number impersonating HMRC, making repeated automated calls about alleged legal action and suspended National Insurance numbers. Callers claim lawsuits or arrest warrants are imminent and urge recipients to press a button to speak with a case officer, a tactic widely recognised as fraudulent. The messages are often distressing, particularly for vulnerable or elderly individuals. Genuine HMRC communication never occurs via unexpected calls nor demands immediate action over the phone. Many users advise ignoring and blocking the number, highlighting concerns about privacy breaches despite phone preference services. Reports suggest it is likely linked to criminal activity aiming to intimidate and extract personal information, and complaints to the ICO are common though enforcement appears limited.

Someone rang me but didn’t say anything or leave a message. Not sure why they bothered calling at all.

My BT call log shows that this number tried ringing me 4 times over the week, but none of the calls connected. Looks like it's probably blocked by BT.

Got a few voicemails claiming HMRC has legal action lined up against me and telling me to press 1 to talk to a 'Case Officer'. The weird thing is, they never actually say who the message is for. Seems pretty dodgy to me. Honestly, if HMRC had any real problems with someone, they’d send a proper letter addressed to the person involved. They’d definitely not try sorting this out over the phone like some kind of scam. Stay careful, folks!

Got a call from someone claiming to be HMRC, but as soon as I started asking questions, they suddenly went silent. I asked who exactly they were, since I know the proper abbreviation is HM Revenue and Customs. Then I asked for my national insurance number, and mentioned that the real HMRC never contacts people by phone or email, only via official letters. That seemed to spook them because the call just cut off. Typical scam!

I received a rather concerning automated message stating that there's a legal action filed against me. It instructed me to press a button to get in touch with my case officer. My advice? Don’t engage! Just end the call right away!

My voicemail message was still playing so I missed the beginning of the robo call, but I did hear something about an arrest warrant and being told to press "1". I just hung up straight away 'cause it sounded like a scam. I looked it up here to check if others got it too, and turns out I’m not the only one.

Got a call just like many others about some legal trouble with HMRC. They claimed I was in serious hot water, which sounded fishy to me. Pretty sure it’s just another one of those scam calls trying to scare people.

I got two calls today claiming to be from HMRC, just like people here mentioned. Left a message the second time but they just ignored me. Tried to report it to the ICO but their system was down or overloaded - guess they’re flooded with complaints right now!

Been getting calls non-stop from this number with some automated woman's voice saying I gotta call back to talk to a Case Officer. Total nonsense, obviously a SCAM. No way I’m calling them back. What bugs me is how my landline even got on their list, I thought my phone provider had some PTS protection? Anyone know how I can block this number for good?

I just got a robocall on my home phone from 02030953265 claiming to be HMRC and telling me I have a legal case against me. They asked me to press 1 to talk to someone about the ‘lawsuit’ but I didn’t press anything. These annoying calls really need to be stopped somehow.

I've had calls four times today from someone claiming to be HMRC! Seriously, do NOT hit 1 like they tell you to. It sounds daft, but I can imagine some folks might get freaked out and do what they say - don’t fall for it. HMRC’s own site says they wouldn’t ever ring up asking for that kind of thing. Stay safe, everyone!

Got a call that started off with a recorded message saying my National Insurance number was at risk and to press 1 to stop any legal trouble. I wasn't in a hurry, so I went ahead and pressed 1 just to see what would happen. A lady with an Indian accent came on the line but didn’t say much English before she just disconnected. Definitely felt like a scam call.

I spoke to someone claiming to be from HMRC the other day, they said I owed money and needed to pay right away. But from what I understand, HMRC won’t suddenly ring you saying you owe debt you didn’t already know about. They usually only contact you once you’ve been informed about the debt already. Feels dodgy to me!

I’ve had this number bother me for ages now, and just today they called twice claiming there’s a warrant out for my arrest. First they said it was about my national insurance, then they wanted to talk to a case worker, and now they’re threatening to arrest me. I’ve blocked them now, but honestly, if an older person got this call, it’d be terrifying.

They rang me three bloody times within an hour, always telling me to press 1 or else there’s an arrest warrant. This kind of scam is just annoying and honestly should be illegal since it probably freaks out people who are easy to scare.

Today I’ve had 3 rings from 02030953265 on my home phone, and I always let them ring out. They left a voicemail claiming it’s from HMRC about my National Insurance being frozen. The first time I answered, it was a woman speaking, then the next couple of calls were a bloke. I can imagine if an older or more vulnerable person got this call it’d be really upsetting. Wish there was a way for the Telephone Preference Service to block these annoying scammers!

This number 02030953265 has been ringing my home phone repeatedly - three calls in one day (14/10/2019). I’m pretty sure it’s dodgy, so I just don’t answer, but it’s really getting on my nerves. Wish they would stop calling straight away!

I got two calls from a blocked number, both with automated messages claiming that HMG had filed a lawsuit against me and my NI number was suspended. Then a third time, the same number popped up again with that same prerecorded message. I decided to ring back and ended up speaking to a bloke who said he was verifying national insurance numbers. He sounded Indian. When I told him I was reporting the number to the police, he just hung up on me.

These calls come through every couple of weeks or so, and I've asked them repeatedly to stop but they just don’t listen. I even mentioned that under GDPR, they shouldn’t be holding my number since I never agreed to it. Turns out it’s a dodgy HMRC scam trying to wind me up!

This morning, my workplace got hit twice by a call from this number, claiming to be from “HMRC.” There was a recorded voice saying something like, “Her Majesty’s government is taking legal action against you and your National Insurance number has been suspended. Press 1 immediately to stop an arrest warrant.” I haven’t bothered calling back, but I reckon it’s probably a genuine number that scammers have cloned to look like it’s from HMRC.
