I got a recorded voice telling me I had some tax trouble and needed to hit 1 to speak to someone about it straight away. They warned that if I didn't press 1, the matter would be sent to the police and I'd be arrested soon after. I didn’t respond and the call just ended on its own. So far, no arrest or anything. This scam is really nasty, using fear to try and trick folks, especially those who might be easily frightened, into taking the bait.
