I got a call from 02030930447, it was some American bloke saying I’d supposedly signed up to invest in gold. I told him I hadn’t but he kept insisting I did, then started getting really rude and aggressive, calling me all sorts of names. After all that, I checked their website and rang their main line to speak with someone senior about what went down. I’m quite fed up with these ongoing harassing calls and seriously thinking of reporting them to another agency soon.

Non stop calls about some investment scheme, he said their website doesn’t show much cos they’ve got like over 300 options. Sounds like total scam to me, using dodgy tactics. Why isn’t Ofcom or someone stepping in to stop this?

Just got a call at 16:15 on 02/02/23 from a woman asking for my email to send some “Investment Letter.” Total scam, obviously. Told her to jog on.

He said he was ringing from somethin like 'Golding' - gave me his full name and an email too, said it was about sending out the newest investment guide newsletter. I told him to take me off their list and he said no problem, then hung up. The whole thing only took about 30 seconds.

These scammers (using some name like GSM Investments) somehow knew my first name and an outdated email of mine. They acted like they were my financial advisors and claimed they’d spoken to me before, totally made up stuff. Can you believe the cheek! Looks like they’re aiming at older, vulnerable people who might fall for their stories and follow their so-called “advice”. Could well be some kind of boiler room scam. I’ve already reported it to Action Fraud (the police).

I recently encountered a rather dubious lot purporting to be "GSM" financial advisors. Strangely enough, they had managed to snag my first name and an outdated email address of mine. They went on to assert that they were my financial consultants, claiming to have frequent conversations with me-complete nonsense, of course! The gall of these individuals is utterly staggering! It seems they’re zeroing in on vulnerable individuals, particularly those who may be a bit confused or perhaps a little unsteady in their thinking, trying to ensnare them with their fabricated tales and dubious “advice.” One can’t help but wonder if they’re running a classic boiler room scam operation. I’ve made sure to report this to Action Fraud (the police).

It's quite shocking how these blokes managed to dig up my first name and an old email of mine. They had the audacity to impersonate my financial advisors, claiming we were in regular contact-what a load of rubbish! The sheer cheek of it! Clearly, they’re preying on vulnerable individuals-perhaps the elderly or those not quite in their right minds-who might fall for their nonsense. It seems like a classic boiler room scam to me. I've gone ahead and reported this to Action Fraud and the police!

Somebody just rang me, started hacking away and then shouted “F**k me” before hanging up hahah!

The caller actually said my name and then exclaimed something like, "What the heck?" before hanging up LOL. My phone flagged it as "possible fraud" and reported it automatically. So yeah, I’m marking it as suspicious here too.

I received a phone call claiming to be from an investment firm I’d never even heard of. When I inquired about how they got my information, they made up some story, insisting that we had a chat last year and that I supposedly asked for their brochure back then. I was quick to point out that I had never consented to share my details, nor had we ever had a conversation. At that point, the chap abruptly ended the call. He clearly had a British accent too. What a dodgy business!

Feels like these folks just call to tick a box and make their money, without even talking! They ring up, stay silent for a bit, then just hang up. I block them everytime, but they still keep showing up with a different number later on... so annoying!
