This number rings me almost every day, plus a few similar ones, always about PPI claims. At first, I used to answer and explain I didn’t want PPI as I wasn’t desperate for cash, haha. You wouldn’t believe some of the things they say back though - like asking if I’m famous or a millionaire, wish that were true! Then I just hang up. They still call, but now I’m wise to their tricks so it doesn’t really bother me anymore. Honestly, I reckon your mobile provider should help by blocking these calls, it’s partly their job. The companies making these calls could get fined by trading standards if more of us complain. That’s probably the only way to stop these annoying calls pestering us all the time.

I got a call from someone who barely spoke English properly and kept mumbling. When I asked which company they worked for, they just ended the call. Some bloke with an Asian accent called himself Ian and said it was about a British Lifestyle survey. I humoured him for a bit, but soon realised he couldn’t really chat outside his prepared lines.
