2 yearsLately, I’ve been getting loads of calls from numbers that look alike. Today a new one popped up, 020 3084 3799, I picked up and the call just dropped. When I looked it up, it’s apparently a BT landline. I get around 4 or 5 of these calls daily, both on my landline and on my iPhone, all numbers that seem to follow the same pattern. I’ve ended up cancelling my BT landline since BT didn’t seem bothered by my complaint. Now, I just block any calls from similar numbers on my iPhone. Best not to share anything with them.BT3 yearsI'm receiving calls from this number at least once a day, if not more. They assert they're representing an insurance company, yet refuse to disclose their name and insist on asking me three seemingly simple questions. I firmly declined and requested they remove my number from their system, as the frequency of their calls is becoming utterly ridiculous. Despite my repeated requests, including asking to speak with a supervisor, the caller persisted with a "Just listen, madam" routine. Eventually, after my numerous protests, I had to tell him to kindly do one-though that’s not quite the phrase I used-and ended the call.3 yearsThey are seriously relentless, calling me multiple times a day. Even if I block one number, another from the same telemarketing lot rings me. The calls say they’re from 02 or something like that, but we really need to stay sharp. Make sure to warn your family too because these lot just want to rip you off. Also, watch out for those dodgy mobile phone code scans. Some of them ask you to create a PIN and next thing you know, you’re signed up to some deal site. Then, they charge you like £1.25 per message. Proper sneaky stuff. 🙄🤔👍3 yearsDodged a bullet, this was a total scam. Just blocked the number and wiped it off my list.3 yearsGot a call from a number I didn’t recognise but no voicemail or text left, so I’ve just gone ahead and blocked it 🚫3 yearsGot a call from a BT number again, even though my number is on the TPS list. I keep my phone on silent for unknown callers, but then they send me a text saying I missed their call and should ring back. I’ve reported the number to 7226 and blocked it now. So annoying!3 yearsDefinitely a scammer. They try to get you to give out passwords and banking details. Their English sounds like it’s got a South Asian accent. They first said their name was “Richard,” but when I asked again, they changed it to “Alfred.” Don’t trust this number. I blocked and reported it straight away.RichardAlfred3 yearsGot a call from a lady with an Asian accent, kept pestering me for info and then just dropped the call. The number showed as 02030849779.3 yearsSomeone rang looking for my mum, who sadly passed away seven years ago. When I asked who they wanted, they just ended the call straight away. I had a feeling it was another scam, they always seem to be.3 yearsThey called me a few times today, like three, but most of the time they just hang up the moment I pick up.3 yearsI've had a rather irritating phone call from a scammer who kept bombarding me with ridiculous questions. It would be fantastic if someone could manage to block this pest!3 yearsGot a call from this number and it was a total scam. They try to get your details and then hand them over to proper scammers. Avoid it!3 yearsToday’s the third time my phone rings and clicks straight to the answer machine as soon as I pick up.3 yearsPicked up the phone and they immediately cut the call.3 yearsAbsolutely no clue who this might be, I haven’t got any dealings or connections in London at all.London3 yearsGot a ring from this number about some insurance offer. I said no thanks in a nice way and figured that'd be the last I'd hear. However, they keep ringing, sometimes there's nothing said, other times it just cuts off fast. Bit strange if you ask me.Submit Your Own Report (020 3084 9779)
