What a complete and utter con! Something about vehicles and phones, if I recall correctly. However, I've already got myself both a motor and a mobile, so it seems the laugh's on them!

Received a dodgy call just now. They were after my personal details. I'd advise you to just cut the line and make sure to block that number straight away. Stay safe!

I received a call claiming that my debit card had been used fraudulently, and they insisted that I provide all my banking information to this number.

On Thursday, 11th March at around 12:40, I received a call from a woman who had a noticeable foreign accent. She claimed to be from Car Phone Warehouse and mentioned something about a contract. I made it clear to her—twice, in fact—that I had neither a contract nor any association with Car Phone Warehouse whatsoever. After acknowledging my statements with a brief "OK sir", she promptly ended the call. Odd, really!

I received a call earlier from a woman claiming to be from Carphone Warehouse. When I picked up, she greeted me, but then just kept repeating "hello" before abruptly disconnecting. I don't have any dealings with that company, so it seemed pretty clear that the call wasn't authentic at all.

Received a call from a woman with a thick Indian accent. She asserted she was representing Carphone Warehouse, but it’s clearly a scam. Definitely a clever ploy!
