A lady with an accent from the Far East rang me up, claiming she was from HMRC regarding a package I was expecting from DHL. It felt really dodgy! Just a heads up, these folks are definitely scammers. I got a letter pretending to be from DHL asking for payment. When I rang back, they wanted my phone number, name and other info, then said they’d call me again. It all felt very fishy. Later that evening, they did ring me from this number, but by then I’d already realised they were crooks. When I mentioned I’d reported them to the police, they just hung up. Don’t share any personal info with them - I reckon someone on the inside must’ve leaked my details since I had used DHL a few times before.

Got a call from someone saying they were DHL and wanted cash for a delivery from months ago. I’ve had to pay duty before on stuff coming into the country, but they always ask for it before handing the parcel over, not afterwards like this. Seems dodgy to me, definitely a scam. Don’t fall for it.

Got a call on Saturday from someone saying they were from UPS, wanted money for some import fee. The caller spoke with a strong Indian accent and I couldn’t make out much of what was being said. Left me a voicemail, which felt odd since they usually don’t call weekends. Pretty suspicious if you ask me.
