Sounds like a classic scam to me. They claimed there was an accident involving me, but obviously it wasn’t anything I caused. Total rubbish!

Got a call today about some accident I supposedly had in last three years. They never said my name, so maybe they didn’t actually know it. When I asked where they got my number from or why they thought I was in an accident, they just dodged the question. The woman on the phone spoke with an English accent, but it felt like the responses were kinda pre-recorded and pieced together as I asked questions. Overall, it all felt pretty suspicious to me.
