It seems I received a rather peculiar call earlier. The message claimed to be from HM Revenue and Customs regarding a returned letter linked to an outstanding payment. It prompted me to press one to speak with someone. As soon as I did, I heard that odd connection tone, and a lady with a hint of an accent answered, stating, "HM Revenue and Customs, how may I assist you?" Confused, I replied with, "I'm not certain why you called me." To my surprise, she just hung up. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!
