I got a call tryin to sell me a washing machine cover, and when I told them to take me off their list ‘cause I wasn’t interested, they were really rude. Then, outta nowhere, they called again and had the nerve to say, “Guess who it is!” Proper annoying.

At 10:32 on 14th December 2021, I got a call from a man saying it was about a ‘washing machine cover’. That’s nothing to do with me, so I’ve since blocked the number to stop any more calls coming through.

Received an unexpected phone call from this number, with the caller promoting a discount on my dishwasher insurance. They mentioned that accepting the deal would somehow require me to change my bank information, which raised my suspicions. I couldn't quite remember the specifics of the offer, so I suggested that they ring me back at 14:30. In the meantime, I decided to reach out to the AA, the insurance provider I knew I had a policy with, just to clarify the cover I currently have.
