How on earth do these folks even manage to get hold of my number?9 yearsI've been caught out three times by these chaps, and I haven't a clue who they are or why I’m forking out £4.50 to my phone provider, who then passes that on to these businesses for their dodgy offers that I never requested in the first place! My provider suggested I send a text saying "STOP" (all in capital letters) to that number, which is apparently the proper procedure. This way, the offending firm is legally bound to halt those messages right away. To my surprise, I got a swift reply saying, "FREE MSG Your service has been stopped.
