For a month, my landline was bombarded with such calls, and they even left a message which, amusingly, was voiced in a distinctly American accent with all the corresponding lingo-absolutely comical, to say the least! Now, the irritation has shifted to my mobile, and while the voice sounds very much British this time, the terminology is spot on as well.
