Got a call this morning from a company claiming to handle boiler repairs. They were trying to convince me to pay £250 a year instead of the usual £80 for maintenance, which sounded off. I figured it was dodgy straight away since they couldn’t even say what kind of boiler I have. Definitely felt like a scam to me.
