This caller attempted to dupe my mother-in-law. They had the audacity to threaten her by saying they’d disconnect her life support button unless she coughed up £40 every month. Absolute disgrace!

This morning, I received a phone call from what they claimed was a boiler maintenance company. They were going on about slashing my annual maintenance fee from a rather steep £80 down to an incredible £250! It raised my suspicions immediately. When I asked the caller for the make and model of my boiler, they stumbled on their words, which only confirmed my hunch that I was dealing with a potential scam.
