This number rang me initially but showed up as private. The caller claimed to be from some joint investment company and since it was on our work line, I told them we weren’t interested and asked politely to be removed from their calling list before ending the call. No sooner had I done that, the same number rang again and the lady on the other end, who said her name was Emily Martin, was quite rude, getting angry about me hanging up. I raised my voice back, and immediately the call was disconnected. I’ve since blocked the number.

This bloke with a very strong Russian accent kept ringing me like ten times over the past week, trying to sell some sort of multimedia marketing service. When I told him to quit calling, he got really nasty and started shouting at me. Even after I said I’d report him, he phoned back four more times. He was pushing this platform at “250 Euros or $300 US Dollars,” which sounds like a rubbish exchange rate. He must be bleeding cash on each sale. In the end, he shouted, used some foul language, and called me stupid. Proper unpleasant experience.
