They rang me again and said their company was called Consumer Advice. I tried asking more questions but the guy just told me to look it up online and then hung up on me. When I rang the number back, the company’s name came up as OutOfDebtFree (###), and they claimed they reached me via Facebook. Strange, cos Facebook doesn't have my phone number at all. I’m defo reporting them to the FPS.

This number keeps calling me repeatedly, yet every time I finally answer, they just disconnect. It's rather peculiar!

I received a rather odd automated call from a company claiming to assist with my purported (and completely imaginary) debt. They prompted me to press 5 if I desired a callback. To my surprise, a young lady did ring me back. When I inquired about how they obtained my number, she abruptly terminated the call without uttering another syllable. Quite the peculiar experience, I must say!

Just like the rest, I'm really curious who this is. They rang telling me I owed money I don’t owe. When my daughter phoned back, I asked if they were legit and registered with the FCA, and she said yes. But the moment I questioned how they got my number, they cut the call off.

I received an automated call saying they could help me with a debt I don’t have, telling me to press 5 if I wanted a callback. A woman rang me back shortly after, but when I asked how they’d managed to get my phone number, she just cut the call without a single reply.

I’ve been on the receiving end of those nuisance calls from numbers 08454170054 and 08454170051, and it turns out they’re telemarketers pushing dodgy debt management services. The organisation behind this seems to be outofdebtfree.co.uk, and they’re making the outrageous claim that I expressed interest through Facebook-absolute nonsense! If you’re being pestered by these callers, I highly recommend lodging a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). You can find the details on how to report these bothersome calls at https://ico.org.uk/concerns/nuisance-calls-and-messages/spam-texts-and-nuisance-calls/ - it’s worth taking action!

I've received calls from these annoying numbers, 08454170051 and 08454170054, which seem to be from a telemarketer peddling debt management services. They're associated with outofdebtfree.co.uk and are making misleading assertions that folks have somehow signed up through Facebook. If you find yourself getting harassed by these calls, it's worth reporting them to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). You can do so here: https://ico.org.uk/concerns/nuisance-calls-and-messages/spam-texts-and-nuisance-calls/. Don't let them get away with it!

Some company rang me up but refused to say who they were, claiming they could clear all my debts. The thing is, I don’t owe anything. When I asked how they got my mobile number - which I never share - the guy said it was from marketing. I kept pressing, and eventually he just admitted he had no clue.
