It’s becoming a right nuisance, happening about twice each week, occasionally even twice in one day! After picking up the phone, it abruptly cuts out. Upon dialling 1471 to retrieve the number, I received a message indicating that it was a marketing call, with options to either wait for an adviser or be informed that they might ring again later. They apologised for any disruption caused. Yet, when I opted to hold, the line went silent once more.
I’m planning on lodging a complaint with the Telephone Preference Service, and I’d recommend that as many folks as possible follow suit. That way, these annoying callers could be flagged, prompting Ofcom to take necessary measures.

Upon picking up the phone, I encountered an annoying pause of about 3 to 5 seconds, before some unpleasant chap on the line declared he was representing Boiler Shield. He mentioned that my boiler insurance was set to expire today and insisted that I must renew it right away. I pointed out that this is the second occasion this week we've been inundated with such dodgy calls. I made it clear that our British Gas cover was sorted back in September. To my surprise, the caller abruptly hung up. This is clearly a scam!

This morning, I received a call from some unknown number, and as soon as I picked up, there was nothing but silence on the other end. After a rather awkward pause of around 6 or 7 seconds, they decided to hang up without a word. It's absolutely infuriating! I swear, one of these days, I’ll track them down and give them a piece of my mind-or perhaps a good shake for their childish antics!

Today, I received a rather suspicious phone call regarding extending my boiler warranty. The caller claimed they were reaching out because they no longer send out paperwork through the post, citing issues with cheques going missing. I pulled out my documents and pointed out that my renewal isn’t due until March, to which he promptly hung up! Concerned, I rang Ideal directly, and they assured me it wasn’t them who called, but they would take note of my encounter. Very odd, indeed!

I've been receiving calls from someone attempting to peddle boiler insurance. Each time I mention that I don't actually possess a boiler, they repeatedly claim that I do.
