Endless PPI nuisance calls!

It's quite straightforward, really! Just hop onto eBay and look for a "Pro Telephone Call Blocker." You’ll find you can snag one for less than £30, postage included, which will help you shut out any pesky callers, even those hiding behind withheld numbers.

I’ve had just about enough of this nonsense-four times a day, I receive these calls. Occasionally they’re silent, while other times it’s an actual person on the line. I’ve repeatedly asked them to stop contacting me and to remove my details from their records. They always seem to apologise and assure me that my information is being erased at that very moment. Yet, here I am, still inundated with daily calls. It’s utterly baffling, and I’m at a loss as to how to put a stop to it all.

I’ve encountered a similar issue recently. Let’s not blame the staff, though; they’re simply trying to make a living in a tough job market - it’s not exactly the sort of role anyone dreams of pursuing long-term!

I encountered the very same issue. I picked up the call, only to be met with utter silence before it abruptly disconnected. It rang again, but I swiftly terminated the call this time. Cheers for sharing this info-I've no patience for waiting around for some daft PPI spiel to start up from an automated line. Just yesterday, I got pestered by the number 0141 530 2629, and it was the exact same scenario.

I just noticed I had a missed call around half an hour back. No way I'm ringing them again. I'm relieved I looked it up here!

So, I received a call around three-quarters of an hour ago. Normally, I tend to ignore numbers that don’t ring a bell, but on this occasion, I thought it might be someone returning my call. As soon as I picked up, I was greeted by a pre-recorded voice droning on about a PPI claim, so I promptly cut the line.

I received a call from this number as well on the 11th of March, 2012. I chose not to pick up, and they didn’t leave a voicemail either. Honestly, I find myself ignoring most calls these days. It’s becoming quite the habit!
13 years
Received a call about three-quarters of an hour back. Normally, I don't pick up unless the number's familiar, but I made an exception this time, assuming it could be a return call I had been anticipating. Unfortunately, all I got was a robotic voice droning on about a PPI claim, so I promptly ended the call.

Right, that’s sorted then!

I'm receiving a barrage of nuisance calls from these irritating PPI firms. Is there any way we can put a stop to this madness?
14 years
Absolutely! I just received a call from this number too... they hung up on me the moment I picked up. It feels like I’ve been bombarded with these lately, especially from those pesky 0845 numbers. It’s really getting on my nerves, to be honest. I'm curious if anyone knows how on earth they manage to get our numbers, or if it's all just a game of chance with random selections? It really ought to be put to an end!

What an absolutely dreadful experience! They called me today, and when I requested them to take my number off their list, the woman on the line began berating me, telling me I needed to get my act together and reassess my priorities. I attempted to clarify that I hadn’t taken out any PPI over the last decade, so their offerings were completely irrelevant to me. In response, she did nothing but hurl abuse and subsequently cut me off! Frankly, they are the lowest kind of people and ought to be put out of business immediately. I’ve dealt with my fair share of nuisance calls in the past, but I’ve never encountered such outright rudeness and disdain. I wish I could ring them back and give them a taste of their own medicine, but it’s just a never-ending loop of recorded messages. It’s infuriating! Absolutely loathsome individuals. And to the woman who felt the need to treat me like that - you really ought to take a long hard look at yourself!

I can't believe the nerve of these absolute lowlifes! They decided to ring me today, and when I requested they take my number off their list, the woman on the other end had the audacity to start berating me about getting my act together and prioritising my life. I tried to point out that I've not had any sort of Payment Protection Insurance in the past decade, so their services were entirely pointless to me. Instead of understanding, she resorted to foul language before abruptly ending the call! It’s appalling behaviour from a company that should really be shut down immediately. While I've had my fair share of nuisance calls, I've never encountered someone so horrendously unprofessional over the phone. I do wish I could ring them back just to give them a taste of their own awful conduct, but all you get in return is a bloody recorded voice. Disgraceful! And to the woman who rang? Take a long hard look in the mirror, you need it.

Received yet another call from this number, but I chose to ignore it. This marks the third attempt in just a handful of days! I don’t have any outstanding loans, so I really wish they’d quit pestering me.

I received a rather annoying marketing call the other day. They mentioned that pressing 9 would allow me to stop receiving further calls from them. When I picked up the phone, there was an automated message claiming I had a refund awaiting for my policy. It instructed me to hit 5 in order to validate my details and claim my refund. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

I've received calls from this number on two occasions, yet I refuse to pick up for unknown callers. If this is a salesperson pestering me about "recovering mis-sold PPI premiums," it’s worth noting that there's absolutely no need to fork out cash to these opportunists. You can handle it perfectly well on your own! I highly recommend checking out: www.moneysavingexpert.com They provide all the essential templates you can easily print at no charge. I've been plagued by constant calls from the number mentioned above. They just won’t relent! Every single day, I get at least two calls from them each morning. And as if that wasn’t enough, I'm also receiving nuisance calls from various 0114 and 0121 numbers. I'd strongly advise against answering these calls, as it could end up costing you money. It seems like a right scam, and I’m based in Manchester, just so you know.

Absolutely, it’s about time we put a stop to these pesky nuisance calls. I'll definitely be lodging a complaint with Orange, and I'm determined to uncover the identity of these callers. We could all band together and issue them invoices-might just make them think twice before pestering us again!
