2 yearsThey called saying they were O2, but I double checked with O2 and it’s definitely a scam. What they do is ring O2 pretending to be you to get a security code, then call you acting like they’re from O2, trying to get that code so they can steal your info and rip you off. My advice is to call them back loads of times but put 141 before your number so they can’t trace you, just to mess about and stop them from tricking other folks who might fall for it :)2 yearsBeware of this number! Someone named John rings up pretending to be from O2 or Virgin Mobile saying my Virgin SIM will get blocked soon. He’s been harassing me about this since 5th September 2024, yet nothing’s happened to my SIM. Total scam and definitely not legit. Avoid answering!JohnO2Virgin Mobile2 yearsThey keep ringing me but I just avoid picking up. When I do, I usually just say I’m alright and then hang up straight away.2 yearsSomeone phoned me pretending to be from O2, but as soon as I said the number didn’t look like an official O2 contact, they just ended the call. Bit concerning, if you ask me.2 yearsGot two missed calls from a number I didn’t know. Didn’t pick up since it was unfamiliar and they never left any voicemail, so guess it wasn’t anything urgent!2 yearsSomeone rang me claiming to be from O2 and was surprisingly persuasive, even telling me the exact amount of my previous bill and sending texts and emails that seemed genuine. Of course, I didn’t click any of the links or hand over my details. I reckon older folks or anyone not so careful might have easily been tricked - it’s really quite worrying. Thankfully, I’m always a bit suspicious about these things, so I steered clear of anything suspicious. Just be cautious out there.2 yearsSomeone rang me claiming to be from o2 and sounded really believable, even knew the amount on my last bill and sent texts and emails that looked proper official. I didn’t click any links or share anything personal though. I reckon folks who aren’t as cautious, especially older people, might have been tricked. It’s a bit worrying how genuine they made it seem. Glad I didn’t fall for it cause I’m usually suspicious about stuff like that. Just watch out, yeah?2 yearsSaw it was a London area code so I just let it ring out, no idea who it could be.LondonSubmit Your Own Report (020 3049 9256)
