My 10 year old granddaughter got a call from this number and she got really scared since her mum and dad always tell her about strangers on the phone. I honestly think it’s so careless to ring up random people like this. When I rang back, a woman answered but her English was pretty bad and she just ignored me, pushing a marketing survey instead. Got a call from someone claiming to be from Carphone Warehouse, but it was clearly a scam from India. They tried to pitch some ‘best phone ever’ deal with everything wrapped in for a tiny price, just trying to get your credit card info. Got a call out of the blue from someone claiming to be calling on behalf of Car Phone Warehouse. After a quiet moment, this lady, who sounded like she had a bit of an Indian accent and was talking through a really bad line, asked how I was and then launched into some rehearsed script. I could just about catch her say “Carphone Warehouse” but that was about it. Honestly, I wasn’t interested at all and was just humoring her before I ended the call. The same number rang me twice after that but I didn’t bother answering again.
