I picked up and it was one of those robotic voices claiming to be from HMRC. As soon as I heard that, I hung up right away cos I know its a scam. The tax people always send letters first, they don’t ring out of the blue like that. These scam artists need to do everyone a favour and just sod off already.

This morning at 9:14, I got a call that sounded just like what others mentioned. The caller claimed to be from HMRC and warned about legal trouble if I didn’t ring back on 02030484528. Some dodgy bloke rang up pretending to be from HMRC and tossed out a made-up case number. Proper scam if you ask me! Started banging on about how I owed £2,000 or they’d freeze everything I have, take me to court, and even jail me for a week. Absolute rubbish!

Got a voicemail from some lady with an American accent, saying she's from HM Revenues or something and that I need to ring them straight away after the message finishes. She mentioned something about a solicitor too, but honestly, I didn’t hang around to catch it all. Some mates told me this is one of those scam calls, so I just blocked the number right away.
