I got a call yesterday (Monday) from - surprise surprise - Malcom like others have mentioned before. He launched into some nonsense about green energy. I just went "NO, NO, NO, NO, NO" and he actually echoed it back before hanging up. Honestly, when will these people realise that not everyone over 50 is daft enough to fall for things from random strangers they’ve never met?

He actually knew my name, started off by asking if I was Mrxx YYYYYY. I didn’t reply to that straight away but asked why he was ringing me. He said it was about some energy survey happening nearby. When I asked for more details, he said he wouldn’t tell me anything unless I answered his questions first. So, I just ended the call.

They keep calling me daily, sometimes even twice in a day. Whenever I pick up, they just hang up straight away. Today they called a second time and I told them I'd contact the police if they didn't stop. They ended the call again. Not long after, they rang me again and before I could say anything, the person asked if I lived at my address and started talking about some energy survey. The accent sounded like it was from the North West. I cut the call off while she was still talking.

When i told her we are on the TPS and shouldn’t be contacted, she said sorry and mentioned some problem with their call checks. Sounds dodgy to me. This number rang me twice today on my home phone. I didn't pick up either time cause I wasn't near it. Looks like they keep calling over and over, really annoying. I've heard being on the TPS doesn't stop them either. Lucky I ignored the calls!

Got a call this morning, could hear loads of office chatter in the back then it suddenly stopped. Later on in the arvo another call came through, there was a bit of a pause after I answered then some bloke started singing weirdly "take off your clothes come a bit closer".. then it just ended. Weird kinda p### call but still just a waste of time.

Why is it that these calls always seem to come from India? What do they reckon we’re meant to do when they keep ringing for absolutely no reason? It’s so annoying. Honestly, everyone should just tell these idiots to piss off. Let’s all stand together and make sure we do it. Proper pain in the arse!

Got a call from them today, saying something about a free energy check nearby. I wanted to know how they got my number, and they simply said "a database." When I pressed for which one, the person just hung up on me.

Got a call from this number just now, someone asking for a Mrs Trunk. Told them there’s no one here by that name and they just ended the call. We’re on the TPS, so really not sure why they’re ringing. Blocked the number straight away.

Got a ring from a lady earlier, sounded like one of those call centres. She goes, "Is that Mrs X?" I asked who she was. Then she snaps, "That wasn’t a rhetorical question." So I fired back with, "Neither was mine." Next thing, she just hung up. Even though I’m on the telephone preference scheme, these annoying calls just keep coming through.

Just like many others, I got a ring about some "Green Energy Surveys in my street." I really wonder how they manage to grab people's names, addresses, and phone numbers so quickly. I ended the call pretty quick once I couldn't make out what the person on the phone was saying.

What a nightmare! Got loads of calls all day, mostly dead silence, and on one there was noise in the background like people talking, but they just acted like I wasn’t even there. Doesn’t seem to care at all that I’m on the TPS list.

Got a call from them today, total nuisance. The person on the line was a joke - meant to sound confident but just came off rude and a bit shouty. I didn’t give any of my info and hung up straight away. I really can’t stand these scammers, but it feels like no one ever acts fast enough to stop them.

Got a voicemail with a woman’s voice saying she was calling from HMRC and they’re taking legal action against me! Looked it up here and noticed others said it might be actually Green Clean calling, maybe they’ve switched up their tricks to scare folks into picking up. I’m gonna report it to HMRC just to be safe.

Got a call from a guy with a northern accent who kept on about some energy report I supposedly had. I told him I wasn’t interested and he started being rude, calling me simple or something like that. Honestly, makes me worried he might use this kind of talk to pressure older or vulnerable folks into meetings. Definitely not someone you’d want to deal with.

Got a call today from a woman about some green energy survey for homes with older windows, apparently over 10 years old. Told her I wasn’t interested and she just hung up straight away, no goodbye or anything. Really rude, honestly. Hope she finds a better job where manners matter!

I got a call from this number and when I picked up, I could hear noises and people chatting in the background, maybe some call centre. I kept saying hello but nobody actually replied. I’m on the telephone preference service, so I always ask who’s calling, what company they’re from, and their contact number. If it’s an unwanted call, I tell them straight away that I’m registered and tell them to take me off their calling list, no messing about.

Don’t bother with this number, it’s a fake one made to look real. TPS can’t do much about these calls since they’re usually made by machines and there’s no way to find out who’s calling. I’ve blocked it so it doesn’t ring through, but our phone shows they still tried. Just don’t stress over it and ignore it. We never pick up calls from numbers not on our contact list anyway.

Picked up the phone, there was silence for a bit, then suddenly a woman started laughing softly before the line just cut off. Proper irritating and honestly, it needs to be banned.

My missus picked up the phone and this woman asked, "Do you own (my address)?" She replied, "Who is this?" The caller asked again, "Do you own the house?" My missus said, "I’m not sharing info with strangers." The woman said, "We’re just going in circles here." Then my missus said, "I don’t talk to people I don’t know," and hung up. No clue who the caller was, but we checked the number using 1471.

They never bothered to say who they were. The phone rang, I picked up, and the bloke immediately asked, 'Who is this?' I replied, 'Well, who are you then, calling me out of the blue?' That seemed to annoy him big time as he snapped, 'Don't talk to me like that, how dare you be rude!' So, I just hung up there and then. All I wanted was to know who was calling me. Do they honestly think anyone’s daft enough to just give their details to some random stranger?! STEER CLEAR.

Got a couple of calls from this number today. The lady spoke but came across as really quite rude. She was the one bothering me, not the other way round.
